Too verbose initially, but becomes interesting near explanation of "aliasing". #rustlang
Lately, I’ve been giving a lot of thought to first impressions of Rust. On May 15, we’re going to have a lot of them. And you only get one chance at a first impression. So I’ve been wondering if our Intro and Basics are putting our best foot... | Steve Klabnik | “The most violent element in society is ignorance.” - Emma Goldman

"IT companies are leveraging a huge value from OSS without providing enough back to pay developments of more OSS"
I've been broadly thinking about ways to take a bite out of this challenge. I've visited a couple of 1% for the planet[1] companies and been really inspired by what I've seen. In short, these companies pledge 1% of revenue to environmental causes. As the company scales it has a massive effect on ...

We all know and love the moon. We're so assured that we only have one that we don't even give it a specific name. It's just The Moon. But the moon is not the Earth's only natural satellite. Here's what you need to know about 3753 Cruithne and what its weird orbit reveals about the solar system.

Exploring ES6 Classes In AngularJS 1.x #js #angularjs
In this post I will describe a way of using ES6 classes today in your AngularJS 1.x applications. This is intended more as an exploration than a recommendation of best practice. I’ll go into quite some detail about the reasoning and process behind my solution, but if you’d prefer to fast forward to the finale rather […]

All you need is Love.
Introduction
Father: since 2002
Writing server-side code: since 2004 (history).
Writing AngularJS apps: since 2011

I've build my first site from my phone (Samsung X100 at that moment), using my "FTP-editor" as online-editor of PHP scripts (first deployments of editor were made from internet-cafe). It was free public service so I was not alone in writing PHP scripts through very small display of cell phone :) It's funny from my current point of view, when all my code being written by enterprise quality standards.
