Fresh content #podcast with +Deb Maybury
http://criticallydrinking.com/2016/02/16/episode-16-if-you-love-it-its-not-work/

On what appears to be a life journey towards having tried her hand at everything, Deb Maybury proudly considers herself a Jack of all Trades. On what appears to be a life journey towards having tried her hand at everything, Deb Maybury proudly considers herself a Jack of all Trades. When asked how sometimes seemingly disconnected topics keep pushing her down new paths, she says "I’m following my skill sets, my interests, and what I love to do." When asked how she fits it all into her busy schedule, Deb tells us that priorities are critical to her success, and that sometimes something has to go in order for something new to come in. "It’s more about what I choose not to do I think."

She talks candidly about how all of her passions are fuelled by her desire to never stop learning and tells us that "In order to be the best in anything you have to practice. And practice, and practice." No matter what though, we have to love what we do in order to discover mastery. "If you love it, it’s not work."

New #podcast

#CriticallyDrinking  with +Kristin Bond

'Telling us about her own evolution cannot be unwound from the countries that she has lived in or the friends she has made and it is just the start of her story. She quickly admits that “I am a much better person having moved abroad” because of the experiences and people that she has been exposed to who would have never crossed her path in her hometown of Nelson, Canada.
Kristin explains that each country has had “unique challenges” to her Canadian roots, but that with the help of other global expats she has found her tribe. “You are all there for an adventure” she says when explaining why these people become friends and chosen family to her, “you find your people so fast”.'

+Anna Gustafson is live on #CriticallyDrinking  this week where she talks about the balance of income and happiness and laughs as she tells us if I worked this hard and all the decisions were about money, I would be a really wealthy person because I work very hard. But instead of coveting money and despite her love for boots that fill the gaps in her self-esteem she tells us that there is a currency in happiness and that it adds more value to life than a bigger bank account.

So the other day I did something drastic. I cut just over 25cm/10" off my hair to donate it.
I forgot how impacted we are by how we look and feel like with new hair I'm armed with fresh perspective.
Hopefully the kid that gets a wig because I donated my hair feels the same way.

Introduction
*All About Erin Burrell*

Canadian living in New Zealand so I am Kiwidian or from New Zanada :)

Upon completing my MBA in 2014, I realised that I want to contribute to the way we learn and train by leveraging technology as a tool. Currently studying towards and MA in Education moving on to discovering new challenges in learning and teaching.

Not too long ago I created a podcast at Critically Drinking which is focused on understanding more about how our personal and professional lives can be enhanced through the stories of other people.

I LOVE the internet.  I love the fact that you can support an instinct with amazing data and analytic based proof.  I am in love with new ways of approaching content management, data governance and SEO/SEM to ensure top of mind placement.

I am an athlete (running, cycling, climbing, roller derby, weight training) and am happy to discuss any of them in depth. I often blog about these topics and assorted concepts from leadership to team dynamics over at erinburrell.ca.

As an occupation I have fallen in love with digital spaces.  I have focused most of my career on digital transformation and leveraging technology to change and improve our businesses.

I love all things relating to content (even meta data) and am just as likely to be talking about the lessons I have learned along the way as I am to be asking about where the newest technology can take us.

I am a lover of movies.  Comedy, action, cartoon, drama, I love them all.  I choose Star Wars over Star Trek, and Pixar over Disney.  I am happy to talk classic films, documentaries or the hottest blockbuster releases.

I'm a Myers Briggs facilitator and practitioner which has helped me to better understand team dynamics as both a member and a coach. Our preferences can tell a story about how each person can fit into the puzzles of a dynamic and productive workforce.
