So I had the pleasure of shooting John and Jingna’s beautiful wedding.  I never photographed a groom decked out in military attire, so it made this wedding all the more special.  Jingna made a gorgeous bride and I am so happy for the beautiful couple.  I am gracious that they entrusted Erik Teng Photography as their wedding photographer.  #weddingphotography

The 2014 New York City Chinese Beauty Pageant is getting closer to crowning its queen. Last night marked one of the last events before the finals. The talent show took place in the heart of Flushing and all 14 contestants showcased their talent in front of a packed house. Of the 14, only 5 will advance to the final round to perform at Mohegan Sun on August,17. Although only 5 get to perform in the finals, all of them are already winners in my book. You will have to stay tuned to find out the latest!

Day 8 began with a relaxing boat ride down the Erie Canal. The relaxation of this ride didn't last long as we had to head to Ithaca to tour the campus of Cornell University. The next stop was a hike in the Robert H. Tremen State Park. Our second to last stop, we headed to the Corning Museum of Glass. Finally, we finished our day off in Rochester, NY.  As luck would have it, we arrived just in time for the Big Rib & Jazz Festival. #MissNYChinese

On day 7, we headed towards the Herkimer Diamond Mines, which are home to quartz crystals only available here. Afterwards, we headed to lunch along the Erie Canal.  But lunch didn’t last too long as we had to rush over to Howe Caverns. Overall, the day was chock full of tours and events.  #MissNYChinese

Day 6 started off with a 4.5-hour journey to our destination. I guarantee you that the drive was well worth the trip. We arrived at the Thousand Islands in Alexandria Bay, NY. I did not know places like this existed in New York State.  #MissNYChinese

Day 5 started off as a relaxing day on the beach. The girls and crew got the chance to experience tons of watersports and even some volleyball. Our next stop continued with the watersports theme, and we headed to Ausable Chasm. #MissNYChinese

On day 4 our first stop was the Capitol Building.  Our guide, Michele Vennard then gave us an in-depth look into this government building.  We ventured through the War Room, the Million Dollar staircase and the senate room. After we toured the building, we headed to Saratoga Springs Mineral Spa.  This was quite an interesting experience, because we were permitted to drink this natural spring water that is shooting out from the ground.  #MissNYChinese
