Looking for a gorgeously illustrated book with a traditional folk tale with a moral? You have to look into Curtis Manley's The Crane Girl, a tale about greed getting in the way of true love. #ReadYourWorld

Proud to be a part of the Multicultural Children's Book Day again! This year I'm reviewing a chapter book and two picture books. Here's my first post, Dani Dixon's Five Nations, Peace Day, a middle-grade fantasy book about peace, politics, and the very frail balance between the two. Enjoy! #ReadYourWorld

If you have an older elementary school child or middle-grader who loves fantasy and dragons, this is a really cool new book which would introduce them in a weird way to the world of politics. The best way to describe this book in my view is like Game of Thrones for kids. #FantasyNovels #PoliticsforKids

This looks great! Especially as I am Mexican, but not Catholic... and explaining the Día de Reyes to my kids is not easy. Thanks!
