I was truly surprised by the quilt exhibit at Biscayne National Park today, as much for the skill as it was for the stories.

Just bottled a modified version of this citrus vienna wheat. I switched over to mosaic and chinook hops and am really pleased with the results to this stage. This is my first time I've harvested yeast from a previous batch too so we'll see how it turns out.

Visited the river of grass today, getting a quick and enthusiastic greeting from an eastern diamondback. That's the park, you never know what you're going to get. +Everglades National Park

OG: 1.060, rehydrate and pitch 1 packet of Safale US-05 yeast and let the magic begin. I never get tired of the @homebrew @momentofzen

Moved to Miami in 1998 and it has been way easier and less expensive to see the Red Wings play ever since, just limited to a game or two each year.

A simple brew-in-a-bag cherry witbier, grain bill is 70% 2-row pale with 20% flaked wheat and 10% flaked oats with bittering hops (3/4 oz. magnum 60min.). Adding cherries at flame out then will add cherry extract in the secondary. Extract efficiency is low, sub-60%, so I'm interested in suggestions to improve that while still using standard household items.

Don't forget to check for a thorough crush on your grains. You want to expose the starchy insides while still maintaining the integrity of the husk.

Sometimes a longer mash can help too.

Good luck!

We've reserved rooms in advance and stayed at this hotel twice in the last year. Both stays were fantastic, exactly what we expected - a small, clean, modern hotel with an excellent breakfast and nice pool and exercise facilities. It is located directly in front of a mall with several dining options, a movie theater, and a Target. Very convenient. We'll be staying here again.
