Just why in the hell did Google think it made sense for people I don't have circled to be able to invite me to their fucking events?

If I was at all interested in them or their events, I'd have them circled. Forcing me to decline event invites from people I don't know is a waste of time.

Invite me to your event and you're not in my circles? You are getting blocked.

Advice to Would-Be Circlers:
If your "job" includes representin' for Jesus, there is, quite literally, zero chance I will circle you back.
If you have no public posts then I'm not circling you back.
If your posts are all spam links to the same blog, I'm not circling you back.
If it is easy to tell that you're an ignorant redneck with his head jammed up his own ass, I'm not circling you back.
If you circle me in the vain hopes of setting me straight on all the things I am wrong about, you're gonna be disappointed.
If you live an unexamined life, no circle back.
If you think cyclists are less than 100% human beings and deserving of every right to life that people in cars are then you are both an asshole and NOT getting circled back.

I'm not trying to be difficult, I'm actually trying to make it easier for people to understand where I am coming from.

The picture is from the blog, What Not To Do, (http://wattknottwodew.blogspot.com/2012/04/384-dont-post-photos-of-you-stealing.html) about an idiot who stole gas from a cop car and posted the picture on Facebook where he was pretty immediately tracked down and arrested. What a badass!

Wow, man, I an not sure what your coming from here.

Nice thing about the guy in the photo is that it shows how fast Darwin works in the digital age.

A cropped pano out at Natural Bridges from this morning. And then I let Google shove the pixels around to turbo-size the drama. Came out pretty darned cool, I think.

This is a neat site I came across last week, Pkuto.tv is a video channel aggregator and have applied a rather nice UI over it (though I wish the channel bit was dynamically changeable in size).

The linked channel is a Kids Science channel with nothing but videos (fed from elsewhere online, usually YouTube, Vimeo and the like). There are a whole bunch of "channels" to choose from including news and sports. There are also some excellent music channels with videos.

I don't know what the verbiage in the clip below is talking about though, I loaded their app on my iPad and it was all but worthless.
Watch the best videos for free, 24/7, on any device. From music to sports, kids, skate, surf, comedy and more—it's out of this world.

Have been a very happy user of LastPass for years now and am even happy to pay for it to work on my mobile devices as well.

People who use one password for everything should seriously think about how absolutely stupid that is and get into using a password manager. That way you make sure your one password is a damned good one and you're as safe as you are gonna get (presuming you've used the system to update your single password access so it can remember all the super complicated and impossible-to-crack passwords you should have been using all along).
Dear Lifehacker, You recommend LastPass to avoid problems when services get hacked, but what happens if (or when) LastPass gets hacked? Wouldn't that just give hackers access to all of my accounts? Is LastPass safe to use?

My head would explode if I didn't have lastpass.  I don't trust it with my financial logins but I have everything else in there.  I don't have a clue what any of my non-financial passwords are other than my Google and Lastpass logins.   Lastpass does the rest.   Oh, and my PW for my linux box too.  I think I have a grand total of 5 passwords memorized, that's it.

Introduction
Request: DO NOT add me to any of your circles you share. I am not interested in scads of adds from people who will never bother to interact at all. I am not a number to fluff your follower count.

Update: Want me to circle you back? Interact on my public posts. I circle back but only if there's a reason and some info to go on. Blank bio, no public posts, no interaction = no circle back.

I will happily block trolls, knobs, 'noids and griefers. I do not give second chances and I do not give a damn if you were misunderstood. My sandbox, my rules and that isn't going to change. Don't like it? Don't add me to any of your circles.

Also, don't add me in the vain hopes I'll add you back so you can drop me and "gain" a follower, it won't work and I'll just end up blocking your lame ass.

My circles:
Politics,
Biking,
Photography,
Tech,
Lego,
Parenting
and a few others.

There used to be a whole bunch more here but nobody reads any of this anyway so what's the point?

Hands down the best apple fritters I've ever had. I stop in at least once a week on the way to work to pick one or two up. The other donuts they have are good but the fritters are the king and at a great price too!

This Taco Bell is very hit or miss. Sometimes everything is just fine and sometimes everything seems like it was prepared by someone with an itchy sauce finger or something. I've had burritos that were like soup in a tortilla before. I've given up and just stopped going there at all.
