Anyone have experience with Cast (https://tryca.st/)? I like the idea of an integrated editor and hosting, but can it replace libsyn? (the name of this service is maddening because it's virtually impossible to do searches for it).

Anyone use Zencastr? I've used it many times, and when it works it really works. It essentially allows you to a multi-ender in the browser (more or less). I was going to write up a pros and cons for the beta version, but then I ran into a big problem.

Three cohosts on a two-hour podcast (split into two recordings), and about 17 min into the 2nd recording (and 40 minutes from the end!) my audio completely disappears. The mp3 and wav files are truncated only on my audio. My cohosts' files are fine, and they could clearly hear me as we recorded. Has anyone else had a similar problem, and, more importantly, any ideas on how to fix it? I put a support ticket in, but it's been 24 hours and crickets.

(Moral of the story: always have a local recording for backup.)

Has anyone heard of/used Pinecast? (https://pinecast.com)

It looks super easy to use, but I wonder how effective and reliable it is. I might start a simple podcast just to try it out.

Anyone else get an email from cast.market?

I don't know anything about this company, but they claim it "helps you track important information about your audience including a history of how popular your show is around the world." They had a link to stats for my podcast that includes a world map, but that's about it.

This seems very interesting -- a Libsyn Wordpress plugin. Anyone know anything about this? How can we get in on the beta, +Rob Walch?

I've been invited to do a podcast interview IRL. At home, I use a ATR-2100 on my PC via Skype or Hangouts, but what should I do with an in-person interview? I would love to buy a new Zoom H5 or whatever, but that's not in the cards right now. What to do?

The funny thing is, I was actually searching "how bad is spirit airlines?" So Google knows.
