"
I chanced upon an ancient cache of code:
a stack of printouts, tall as any man,
that in decaying boxes had been stowed.
Ten thousand crumbling pages long it ran.
Abandoned in the blackness to erode,
what steered a ship through blackness to the moon.
The language is unused in this late year.
The target hardware, likewise, lies in ruin.
Entombed within one lone procedure’s scope,
a line of code and then these words appear:

# TEMPORARY, I HOPE HOPE HOPE

The code beside persisting to the last—
as permanent as aught upon this sphere—
while overhead, a vacant moon flies past.

The Cubs are the team to watch this year, but the upper deck at U.S. Cellular Field remains the best place to see a game.

"Nonprofits have an opportunity now to repurpose the phrase 'sharing economy' to mean what it should: shared resources and shared ownership."
Three ways nonprofits can embrace sharing, and bring their leadership and changemaking into the 21st century.

When "strategy" gets thrown around by politicians and the media, you can bet it's being misused.

Metropolis beans aren't as good as what they offer over at Bridgeport Coffeehouse, but I generally prefer the ambiance, style and food options at Jackalope. The place is vibrant, covered in art, gig posters, and stuff from local artists and community groups, and they always seem to have something old and amazing on the TV. Maybe I'm just a 90s punk kid, but this place really suits my style. Nice bonus: Jackalope is next to Halsted bus stops, and they post a live monitor that shows bus times.

We always want more pie and faster, but once they are hot and ready, these pies are delicious. The drink options are always a bright spot, too.

Perhaps the best of the places in the Mag Mile area where you can get a normal meal at normal prices from a non-chain restaurant. Lots of Chicago history in this place. Cash only, ATM on premises.

Really nice staff, cozy atmosphere, and some of the best beans you'll find, including some direct-trade, single-source options.
