If you want employees to go job hunting in order to leverage you into giving them a raise to keep them, then by all means, only give them a raise when they go job hunting. If you want vendors to...

18.375 oz on first picking of Chinook hops. Still lots more on there and 4 other varieties to pick.

Looks like I might have a few too many Chinook sprouts coming up.

There are a few schools of thought. Since it isn't a commercial yard, some say let them all grow and fertilize them good for next season. I will probably trim it back to 3-4 since I get new ones midway through growing season anyway and they still produce. It's beautiful and fun, until you have to cut all those hops off and it takes 8+ hours for one variety. I'm happy to see all of my established varieties popping up though, looks like it's going to be a good year for more than just chinook this time.

About to go on a brewery tour at Little Creatures in Perth, Australia. Beautiful day to enjoy a pint.

It was about 95*F, but the beer was cold so that helped. Pretty good beers and nice to compare the craft beer scene here vs U.S. I wish the tour had a little more beer geekery to it, but you have to keep the non-geeks interested so we got another basic overview of their setup.

I love it when the starter "beer" tastes so good I end up drinking it with no hops in it or additional carbonation. Plain light DME base...yum.

Fundamentals of Homebrewing - Part 1

This could be really useful for brew timers!!!

If you’re cooking up some wings or guac for the big game this Sunday, the Google Search app on your tablet can be your kitchen helper. Use it hands-free by saying “Ok Google,” and then:
-- When you’ve got three or four things cooking at once, Google can keep timers on all of them—say "Set a timer for 15 minutes" and then “Set a timer for 25 minutes,” and you’ll get a separate alarm for each.
-- If you’re debating whether to go healthy(-er) or all out, ask about "Butter versus olive oil" to see a calorie and fat comparison.
-- And if you realize you still need to pick up a last-minute item, just say, "Remind me to pick up cream cheese when I get to Shop Rite." You’ll get a notification on your smartphone when you get to the store.

Good luck feeding the army!

Hey,

I'm running OnwCloud on my personal Raspberry Pi. I made a step by step article for others who are interested. (It's there in Dutch too: http://jurgen.gaeremyn.be/Hardware/mijn-eigen-dropbox-in-de-kast.html)

Kudos to PetRockBlog for the great script, by the way...
