This was probably thee best DTF in the US (better than LA and Seattle). The dumplings were flavorful, the dumpling skins were thin and tender, and the beef noodle soup was delicious. The service was also top-notch. However, it still doesn't compare to the original restaurants in Taiwan. Also, the menu was missing some of my go-to favorites, like stir fry snow pea shoots (豆苗).

A very solid 3-star sushi restaurant, bordering on 4, by virtue of being probably one of the best sushi options in the area. The fish was quite fresh, and there were solid specials flown in fresh from Tsukiji, Japan. Their short ribs were also quite delicious. The staff were all very friendly, and the interior decor was simple but charming.

Probably the best Kalbi Tang north of LA, this side of the Pacific. I'd highly recommend this place. The line may look long, but fear not. The turnover here is usually pretty fast, especially at lunch time.

Solid indoor eats. A bit overrated if you compare with some of the great indoor eats in the US (eg, Boston's Faneuil Hall), but still a nice spot for lunch in Amsterdam, especially if it's rainy outside.
