My wife and I had a great time exploring Phi Phi Island and Bamboo Island with Andaman Camp and Day Cruise. We booked a private speedboat tour, so we could maximize our time at the islands, and minimize the time getting there and back. The homecooked picnic lunch at Bamboo Island was delicious, and probably the highlight of our day. Elizabeth was great to work with, and super responsive on email, as we worked through logistics. I'd highly recommend them!

A very average hotel, but basically as good as it gets here at the Golden Rock Pagoda. Be prepared for periodic, rolling blackouts.

Overrated tourist attraction. You can find far better sunsets elsewhere in Mandalay, that aren't overrun with tourists.

Standard big box Best Buy. I've found the salespeople to be generally pretty unknowledgable, and not that helpful

Great hotel in a super prime location right in the middle of the Bagan temples.

Great tourist hotel at the foot of Mandalay Hill. Try not to eat at the hotel restaurants though. They are horribly overpriced.

Besides our vermicelli being too salty (to the point where I couldn't eat it), my wife and I really enjoyed this place. Our other dishes were quite good. The service was also very good. This place is located just slightly off the touristy beaten path, so it's quieter and much more relaxing.
