Adventure early chapter books for kids ages 5 to 8 feature fast-paced, exciting action and heroic boy and girl protagonists. Great for reluctant readers.

Some very good tips in this post! We always try to master a stanza a day when there's a poem to memorize in a fixed amount of time.  What helped my kids was to learn it along with them.
