One of the most popular posts on this blog has been Three Things You Don’t See in Well Behaved Children. If you haven’t read that yet, please check it out! In that post I shared that one of the things you don’t see in those children is the work it takes…
We all want well behaved children. But, how do we get them? Here are three steps to help you have well behaved children!

This post was inspired by a conversation with a friend who shared with me how completely nervous she was to let her kids go to school, because we lose so much control over what they hear and internalize every day. My answer was yes, it's hard! But still have plenty of hours every day to fill our kids up with love and belonging, within our own homes.

42 Ways to Make Your Kids Feel ABSOLUTELY loved! http://www.letwhylead.com/2014/09/42-ways-make-kids-feel-absolutely-loved.html

My biggest advice for writing a family purpose statement or a family motto is just to let go of the pressure to get it just right. What's so wrong with tweaking it as your family grows and changes? I'll tell ya - absolutely nothing! Come read ours and hopefully get inspired to create yours! http://www.letwhylead.com/?p=7089

Can you think of a happier way to kick off the holiday season than cramming four heads around a churching ice cream maker? That's how we started off ours! This is a GREAT recipe and an even better family tradition: http://www.letwhylead.com/?p=8710

"As parents of a child with special needs, we are wandering in the wilderness. We are thirsting in the desert. But through both arguments and tears, laughter and joy we can walk together as a couple and, because of that, as a family." Featured at beautifulinhistime.com#write31days  #specialneeds #marriage

This post started in my head the other morning when I climbed under the quilt with my second son at 7:02, and he shined a flashlight in my face. Am I really experiencing the magic of motherhood, or am I missing it? Are you? http://www.letwhylead.com/2014/07/magic-of-motherhood.html
