Hello all,

I’m Eric, a Ph.D. student at Cornell University. My friends and I designed a CrowdVR 360 system for VR Education including a web application and a mobile app

(1) With CrowdVR 360 web application, you can easily create and share your own immersive, virtual journeys for experiential learning. You can annotate the VR scenes with your teaching materials, design quiz in the VR, or add links to another VR scene.

Here is our prototype demo :

Try CrowdVR 360 beta now :

(2) CrowdVR 360 mobile app provide students with unprecedented learning experiences, transporting them to an entirely new world from which to learn from. It's virtual, but you will feel real. Through connecting with our web application, students can read annotations, take quizzes, and most of all, enjoy learning.

Here is our prototype demo:

*We have tested our mobile app on both iOS and Android. We plan to publish it to AppStore and GooglePlay after final testing.

This project is still in beta stage and we are still working on fixing some issues. Our ultimate goal is to make it open-source so that more people can experience the thrill of VR learning.

It would be very helpful if you could leave your feedback or comments below such as what you like the most about the system or idea and what we should improve.

Thanks for your help and time.

Our fabulous KUWP co-director +Kim Kiefer shared a new tool with me called Twine!  Given our previous week's focus on gaming, I thought the best way to share it with our #clmooc  friends would be via this link.  Enjoy! :)

Sorry I've been so quiet lately -- I got married on Saturday night and you can only imagine how the past week has been (for those of you married and/or are planning to wed +Ruth Weissman you know what I mean! ;)

In the spirit of my wedded bliss, and the Week 2 Make Cycle with memes, I thought this would be a most appropriate share!

My husband (wow, first time typing that!) did not propose with memes (he proposed like this: http://rusticprimcottage.typepad.com/my-blog/2014/01/the-story-of-us-from-me-jay-to-me-jay-my-fianc%C3%A9.html) but I thought this was SO incredibly adorable (I <3 geeky love) that I HAD to share it with you all!

Enjoy! :)

In the spirit of this past week's "How-to" make cycle, I wanted to share a new site I stumbled across during my scrapbooking journeys earlier this evening.  It's called SnapGuide.com and it's chock-FULL of tutorials/how-to's -- everything from "Arts and Crafts" to "Technology" (and a whole lot in between).  Enjoy!
