This interactive classroom has the potential to start bringing technology into the classroom in a meaningful way. While not quite there yet, I can see a future where kids can comment in virtual classrooms, as well as real life ones, drawing in those who otherwise wouldn't participate in person. You have the possibility of psuedonyms that only the teacher knows whom they are attached to, maybe helping overcome the issues of stereotyping kids so they don't want to be seen as smart. http://ow.ly/kvlRj

As much as I'm skeptical of automated house gimics at times, this is really cool.

E-books are killing the bookstore

A side effect to using an e-reader is that I am not longer reading and going "I have half a book left, no way this is the real solution." I have to make a conscious decision to see how far along I am and spoil it for myself.
Ebooks reach 22.55% bookstores are dying as recomendation engines get better and browsing is becoming defunct. Books are also heavy and inconvenient whereas everyone has a phone and tablets are spreading. Delivery is getting easier, and I think it will be a boon toreading. http://ow.ly/k2kdj

Bing's latest stab at Google

I hope that the pinning links back to the original page and not to Bing. . .
Still fighting to overtake Goole, Bing now lets users pin images straight from image results. Countdown until Google allows the same thing begins now. http://ow.ly/k3eVC
