    Founding Partner, 2014 - present
I am a San Francisco-based trial lawyer passionate about representing clients—particularly tenants, individuals, and small businesses—in landlord-tenant (tenants only), personal injury, and business disputes. I am a founding partner at Toscano Kellogg & Van Aken LLP, where I represent plaintiffs in disputes arising out of tenant's rights (wrongful eviction, landlord harassment, habitability), personal injuries (auto/bicycle/pedestrian/construction accidents, brain injury, fire and burn injury, spinal injury, wrongful death), and business law (breach of contract, business torts). I enjoy pro bono work, particularly in the area of immigration law. I'm active in the Bar Association of San Francisco's Barristers Club. I recently completed a two-year term on the Barristers Club’s Board of Directors, serving as Board Vice President in my second year. I volunteer as a mentor in BASF’s Mind the Gap Program, an initiative that provides opportunities for unemployed and underemployed attorneys. I enjoy working with recent graduates and new attorneys—particularly those interested in starting up their own small firm or solo practice. I am also a member of the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association, the San Francisco Tenants Union, the Italian American Bar Association of Northern California, and the American Bar Association.

    Landlord-Tenant, Real Estate & Business Litigation Attorney, 2012 - 2014
I am a San Francisco-based civil litigation attorney passionate about representing clients—particularly tenants, individuals, and small businesses—in legal disputes. I am the founder and principal attorney at Toscano Law. My civil litigation practice focuses primarily on defending commercial and residential tenants (eviction/unlawful detainer defense and plaintiff-side tenant litigation against abusive landlords), real estate law, and general business law. I enjoy pro bono work, particularly in the area of immigration law. Before founding Toscano Law, I worked in the intellectual property litigation practice group at a large international firm. Although my practice focused principally on patent litigation, I also gained experience in trademark litigation, trade secret litigation, financial services litigation, general commercial litigation, landlord-tenant law, bankruptcy law, and receivership law. I am active in the Bar Association of San Francisco, where I currently serve as Vice President of the Barristers Club's Board of Directors. I am also a member of the San Francisco Tenants Union, the Italian American Bar Association of Northern California, the American Bar Association, the American Immigration Lawyers Association, and the California Receivers Forum.

I am an attorney who has leased space from Intelligent Office, first a workstation and now an office, since October 2012. Their service is outstanding and includes live receptionist service with a personalized firm/company greeting, mailbox service, conference rooms and offices rentable by the hour, a shared copy/printer/scanner, use of a kitchenette area, and complimentary coffee for tenants. The workstation arrangement worked out fine for the first couple of months. Whenever I needed to meet with clients, I just rented an office or conference room for the meeting. After I got busier, I upgraded to an office. Intelligent Office personnel are extremely friendly, courteous, and responsive. Many clients have told me how impressed they were with this space. Intelligent Office has played an integral role in the growth of my firm over the past seven months. I highly recommend them.
