Ever wonder what goes on inside a startup accelerator? Find out here and now...
Look -- startups fail everyday. And depending on who you listen to, the crash and burn rate is anywhere from 50% to 90% within 1 to 5 years. Because smart entrepreneurs know this, they seek help. Mentors, advisors, peer group entrepreneurs, business courses, masterminds and accelerators are a few options. In fact, according [...]

Fear and failure. Like the toy prize found in a box of Cracker Jacks, these two words just come in the box labeled entrepreneurship. But what are the best kept secrets on how to overcome these paralyzing words? Kelsey Ramsden has the answers. As Founder and owner of 4 companies, Ramsden is set [...]

Resolution madness...

Conversations about goals and resolutions got me thinking. There must be a better way. So instead of just hiding in a hole with some ideas to implement in your own business life for 2014; I wrote an article on Forbes for you: http://onforb.es/19JjbUs
Apply the Pareto Principle to New Year’s resolutions and it’s not a pretty sight. Yes -- I am willing to bet at least 80% of resolutions made as part of our yearly ritual do not come to fruition. Could be more like 90%. And I am a perfect example of this. Last [...]

So what is #crowdfunding  and why should you care?

Discover if it's right for your #startup in this piece on Forbes...
“I need capital, Eric.” Sitting in my archives are hundreds of emails with the same plea. And although my comeback tells entrepreneurs to bootstrap and run lean for as long as possible, there does come a time to seek the almighty buck. Startup entrepreneurs can knock on the door of angels, venture capitalists, [...]

#Entrepreneurs Never realized how important this skill is to our success...
You and I face problems. Sometimes we know what to do. Most times we don’t and need input from others. But to maximize this input to produce real-world results it takes a new skill not taught in most business schools. Call it a ‘strategic conversation’ and according to Lisa Kay Solomon, entrepreneurs aren’t [...]

2014 -- a year to stop living in fear and embrace it:

"Leaders push themselves to the edge, to the place where fear lives. By feeling it, by exposing themselves to the resistance, they become more alive and do work that they're most proud of. The fear doesn't care, either way. The choice is to spend our time avoiding that fear or embracing it." - Seth Godin

Good stuff.

This reminded me of something I heard Gary Halbert say. No matter how old we get, we never eliminate fear. Even elderly gentlemen get nervous when trying to spark up conversation with an attractive lady.

We're going to feel fear, period. But the difference between success and failure is movement. We can't let fear keep us from moving forward.

Thanks for sharing, Eric.
