I work with Drosophila, therefore I can say "collect virgins" with a straight face.
I run a core facility at Duke University called Model System Genomics that helps labs use Drosophila as a model system for their research. I also teach a genetics and developmental biology and genomics laboratory courses. Oh, and some molecular biology, as well.
For about 2 months I had a top 20 national ranking on the extra missions for Ninja Gaiden Black. God, I loved that game.
