There's also GDrive for all your photos!

What's missing from Picasa (or GPhotos) is some advanced organizing tools, like Flickr has. Especially the ability find photos not in an album (or only in the auto upload album).
Google announced that Google+ Photos will no longer be available in a few weeks, so everyone will have to switch to Google Photos. "In an effort to ensure everyone has the best photos experience we can deliver, on August 1st ...

+Dolphin Browser is tab push to desktop supposed to work if the desktop isn't connected? Should the tab show up when the desktop gets connected? What about pushing between phone and tablet? Like Push Bullet. Thanks.

Surprise!!! Doesn't seem to be active yet for Google Apps users.
Gmail's theme gallery added hundreds of new high-resolution photos and many of them were taken by Google employees like Romain Guy and Greg Bullock. Click "more photos" in the "pick your theme" dialog to find all the new phot...

Google+ was never more than a facelift on their existing services, with a plus sign! Nothing that is part of Google+ didn't already exist, even Google+ Photos (now just Google Photos) is just Google's PicasaWeb!!! I still use the PicasaWeb interface because it provides better album management, and I still get the Auto-Awesome (or Assistant - lamest name change of the century).

Google should just blast off the coat of paint and go back to the original services. They worked, everyone used them, and most importantly everyone was linking to them on Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, etc. So they got way more exposure than G+ ever did trying to compete with social networks.
A few weeks ago, Google dropped the Google+ link from the navigation bar. It looks like Google also removed the share button from the navigation bar, so you can no longer use it to share photos, links or create events and pol...

Auto-awesome was a much better name than Assistant!
Google has a new standalone service for photos - it's called Google Photos and it's available as a desktop web app and 2 mobile apps for Android and iOS. Google Photos doesn't require Google+ and it aims to be "one home for a...

I want to install elementary on my Windows laptop, but I have to make sure to not touch the MBR. Does the installer give the option to install grub to the elementary partition and avoid the MBR completely. I'll use NeoSmart EasyBCD afterwards to get into elementary. Thanks,

Well, I tried Elementary from the Live CD and it worked fine (even wi-fi) until it went to sleep - and never woke-up. So I guess the point about the MBR is moot.

Any chance we'll see Chromecast receiver available as an app? So we can turn an old tablet or phone into a Chromecast device, because we don't all have the money to replace our gadgets every year so some software solutions would be nice. I have an old Xoom plugged into the much older sound system. Currently we need to go to the tablet to setup music playback but if I could install a Chromecast receiver app on it I could control from my phone. That would be awesome!!!

Following up on my previous comment, here's what Pushbullet looks like on my tablet when I share something. You can see the devices bar is a little bit cut-off. On my phone it works perfectly. Thanks,

Can't wait to get on Wi-Fi and download the latest version to +Player FM

Bad Voltage 43 'Got The Om On' is out and available to listen to and download at http://www.badvoltage.org/2015/05/28/1x43/

+Jeremy Garcia, +Stuart Langridge, and myself present Bad Voltage, in which +Bryan Lunduke is sadly unavoidably absent, we discuss relationships between the Ubuntu and Kubuntu community councils, we ask you to tell us which bits you like, there are once again accusations that eating yoghurt is a bad personality trait, and:

 * 00:01:57 Bad Voltage Fixes the F$*%ing World: we pick a technology or company or thing that we think isn’t doing what it should be, and discuss what it should be doing instead. In this first iteration, we talk about Mozilla

 * 00:28:40 Meditation is reputedly a good way to relieve stress and stay centred, and we look at HeadSpace.com who offer a purchasable digital set of meditation tapes and guidebooks, as well as some brief diversions into the nature of relaxation and the voice of Jeff Bridges

 * 00:44:45 +Rick Spencer, Canonical’s VP of Ubuntu engineering and services, talks about Canonical’s focus, the recent announcements around phones and “internet of things” devices, and how community feelings about Ubuntu’s direction dovetail with Canonical’s goals

 * 01:06:12 We’ve talked about 3d printers in the past, in the context of you owning one, but there are online services which allow you to upload a 3d design and then will print it in a variety of materials and send it back to you in the post. Could this be the way that 3d printing really reaches the mainstream?

What do you think about Canonical's efforts? Do you think meditation is a load of old bollocks or interesting? What do you think the next steps for Mozilla should be? Are 3D printers really so cool? Let us know your thoughts on http://community.badvoltage.org/t/1x43-got-the-om-on/10477

Hey DellCare Team, i owe a venue 3830 tablet and facing a lot of issues after upgrading it to 4.4.2. I think 4.2 was more stable than kitkat. The thing that bothers us is your taciturnity over the updates. Whether you have an plan for up gradation or not, please let us know. We are fed up of your standard replies on this.

+Dolphin Browser Why do browsers some times have difficulty getting the touch-icon for home screen short-cuts? And why do different browsers get different short-cuts? See the attached screen shot, first on left is built-in browser (Android), middle is Chrome (beta), and right is Dolphin. Three different icons for the same URL!? http://www.cbc.ca/m/touch/pg-tv.html?montreal

The food is delicious very well presented. Kind of eclectic so check the menu before you go in. Beware of the restrooms though, they're in the dungeon deep down in the bowels of the earth!
