Still have an I/O for Families to trade. Would primarily be interested in a Google Knight, but would be interested in other GSEs or APs. (Already have previous I/O specials, Analytics 1, and Glass Penguin.) Send hangout or comment here.

I received this little guy unboxed at I/O 15. I'm trying to figure out if he's Rainbow Collection or MWC 2012. I suppose that without a box it'll be impossible to authenticate.

If they were giving them out at I/O, and sans box, more than likely parted out rainbow sets.

If anyone could give me an idea of what it might take to trade for a Glass Penguin mini, please message me. I'd very much love to get one, as I love penguins and snowboarding...

Am I crazy, or does Lollipop consistently fail to put stacktraces into logs? Debugging has gotten way worse in 5.0 as far as I can tell. Is there a work-around? Am I the only person this happens to? Are these questions rhetorical?!

Don't know why there had to be a two day wait to hear "no tickets" instead of mailing everyone on Monday whether they were selected or not. If they were waiting to see if anyone would decline their ticket, they could have just said so, that maybe a few spares would trickle out.

Well, just like when you plan any party, there's an A list, a B list and a C list.  Once you have enough confirmed A list guests you can start rejecting the C list ones.  I guess that means we're C list.

Trying to use some Renderscript in order to play with Picasso Transformations today, I discovered a bit of nastiness - despite the Renderscript documentation saying "We strongly recommend using the Support Library APIs for accessing RenderScript because they provide a wider range of device compatibility," the documentation also says three paragraphs later that "Use of Support Library RenderScript APIs is not currently supported with Android Studio or Gradle-based builds."

I'm a little bit stunned. "We strongly recommend you use these APIs that are supported in neither the 1.0 release of the IDE we have created, nor the new build system that is meant to be the best"? Completely bizarre.

It is supported in Gradle, just outdated documentation - Muzei uses support renderscript to great effect: http://stackoverflow.com/a/22976675/1676363

Update: Paul himself gave me a call after reading my review and really went above and beyond, letting me know that he thought they could have done a better job finding places to help me save money on the repair, and in the end deciding that since the customer service in this instance hadn't been up to snuff and that I'd been such a longtime customer that they'd do the work for free. Really appreciated the great treatment. Originally: Took my car in for an oil change and assistance on a front headlight and accepted the recommended service to change the belts on my alternator and AC compressor. The AC compressor failed completely two days later, far from home. When I came back, they insisted it couldn't have been their problem, quoted me a huge price on the compressor, and didn't really work with me at all on the price. Ended up feeling like I'd had an extraordinarily expensive oil change.

Fantastic Italian food served incredibly fast. Really good chicken parmigiano, superb baked rigatoni. I'm writing this review primarily so that Google Now will remind me where this place is next time I'm in Baltimore!

Easy, free delivery for being local, and they apparently upgraded my bouquet for free. Will definitely be shopping with them in the future.

I make a point of stopping in here every trip to San Francisco. I love their take on Margherita pizza, and it was absolutely worth a 2 mile trek on foot to get some on California Street.

Unbelievable food at a less than unbelievable price. Their raclette for two is pricey but SO good. Their chocolate fondue is outrageous. Be prepared to spend a lot, but then be prepared to love the food.
