Power has just gone out.  It's anybody's guess how long I'll be off the air.

Good luck, may your outage be short ...
I take it this is the first storm that +Eric Raymond has ever been through...

...and it ain't much of a storm either.  I heard the winds won't even reach a hundred miles an hour!
Nah.  We usually get brownouts every summer and average a power outage of at least a few hours every couple of years; but because of the expected duration of the storm this one is likely to last longer.
I'm guessing you'll be off the air for just under two and a half hours.
It turned out to be about 19 hours.

The power came on again Monday at about 10:00 p.m., and stayed on  till a bit after midnight.  Then, it was out (for us and about half of Malvern) until 5:00 p.m. Tuesday.
