Great advice for anyone who is fortunate enough to have an EA. Make sure you're utilizing the best of their talents, but also giving them opportunities to take over larger projects and responsibilities when appropriate.

Great advice for some simple productivity and mood enhancements at work!

Very interesting read! I'm curious how many people actually do this. I often give direct feedback during an interview, but I think it's a little easier for me because I work for a staffing agency where one of or main goals is to prepare people for their interviews.

Great idea! This concept should also leave you with a sense of accomplishment each day, if properly executed.

One way I follow this plan is to make my to-do list at the beginning of each day, them block out times in my calendar for the tasks/goals that require more than a few minutes of my time, then set a separate block to get a bunch of the little things on my list done all at once.

Crew recently updated their menu! The new items combined with twists on old favorites is a perfect compliment to the liquid refreshment served at this corner sports bar. The recent menu change only increases my love for this place! The staff is really friendly, and very helpful. They always know the right beer to go with what you're eating. What makes it even better, are the specials that they have every day of the week!

First time visitor, long time passerby. I recently received a bike from a friend and took it here on my maiden voyage. The bike needed a new inner tube for the rest wheel. While the repair guy checked the wheel, I decided to pick up some new handlebar covers and a new seat. The selection seemed to be a little limited, but I found what I needed at reasonable prices. I walked in 30 min before closing and the guy took my bike right away but, the service was friendly and quick!

Garcia's is my favorite Mexican spot in Chicago! From the great food, to the awesome drinks, to the great service, this place never disappoints. I have celebrated my last two birthdays at Garcia's and am always happy to bring my friends and family here. Dined al fresco last night and couldn't have had a better experience. The weather was great, the food and drinks made it a perfect evening.

Good food in a cozy neighborhood bar and grill. The atmosphere here is simple yet clean, nice balance of TVs for watching games but not overbearing volume that drowns out conversation. The food is good and reasonably priced, however the upcharges for adding meat to a salad, or even mayonnaise ($0.50!) for a hamburger seem a little high or even unnecessary (in the case of the mayo). All in all, great place for after work drinks or late-night grub in a nice environment.

Very nice place! Clean, friendly people, good music. I would have liked to have maybe some iced tea or something other than coffee. I got a great pedicure so I can wear my flips without offending anyone!

I haven't been here for about a year. I don't remember being blown away by the food last time, and I certainly wasn't this time either. I ordered the soft shell chicken tacos with sides of rice and beans (which seemed standard for all entrées on the menu). The food arrived and while the presentation was fine, the tacos were completely tasteless—no seasoning, no love. Just shredded boiled chicken breast thrown into a double soft corn shell with some wilted iceberg lettuce and a touch of cheese. The refried beans had a burned flavor to them and the rice was average at best. The service was what really threw me for a loop, however. He started off fine, even recommended we go for the signature margarita which he said was a dollar more, but worth it— and I have to agree. While we were finishing our meals, the server approached our table (at 4:00) asking if we could close out our check because he had to get to his other job at 5. Now, I'm no stranger to servers changing shifts and having to close or transfer checks, but to tell me it's because you have to get to your other job seemed a little rude. I don't care what the reason, just come and tell me you are changing shifts and ask if there's anything else you can do before you close our check. Overall, a mediocre experience at best. Likely won't be back.
