Great story.... love #golf

Nails hole-in-one, feels suicidal? ...

It sounds crazy, but I was playing golf with a 15 handicap friend who is the first person to admit he's not all that good. In fact, he almost always loses when we play. But he always has fun, he loves the game, he's getting better, but at best I'd say he's a below average golfer.

Or so I thought.

When we played last year, he stepped up to a par 3, decided to tee off with his 9 iron as almost a joke just to see what would happen and...

He aced it!

One of the few hole-in-ones I ever saw up close.

He started jumping up and down, pointing, I thought he was going to break down and cry he was so excited.

It was a beautiful moment.

But, kind of sad, too.

He even said something about ending his own life. (He was already a depressed guy, but this really made him down.)

Why?

Because we went afterwards for a couple beers, talked about it, and since I'm his only friend who plays golf, he's got nobody else to tell. He goes home, tells his wife, but she hardly even knows what a hole-in-one is and was pretty much like, "that's nice..." Same with his friends and co-workers. He's got nobody to talk to about it. He's not part of a country club with that camaraderie. Nobody cheering him on asking him to tell them about it. Nobody caring one way or the other.

In a weird way, it was one of the things that made me want to start the Golfing Fanatics online private club.

Some of the most respected names in golf are involved, and it lets even the regular guy who doesn't have thousands to spend each year get all the benefits of being in a $50k per year private golf club for only $15 (yes, just fifteen dollars) per year. Including free brand name golf equipment, clubs, apparel, etc sometimes even before the public sees it.

It also includes free PGA Pro training.

(We have 3 PGA Master Professionals involved already, which is almost unheard of.)

And it's built around the fact that as golfers, even though there are 40 million of us, most of us really don't have a big group of friends to brag to, tell stories to, or just hear us out. Nobody to talk with about our passion.

That's why Golfing Fanatics is designed as a REAL club.
(just online)

This isn't just a forum.

Or a soulless website with a "contact" button.

We're all in there, helping each other out, hearing what's going on with our games, giving each other tips and ideas and leads on great products, courses, teachers, and get aways.

It really does go beyond getting our members free brand name equipment and accessories... or learning from the top PGA Master Professionals who walk the earth... or getting great deals, discounts, and opportunities to golf in top rated courses.

At the end of the day?

It's about you.

And all of us connecting about our passion we spend so much time thinking about and playing.

We're set to launch any day now (we had a few delays, it happens unfortunately).

We are capping membership at 3,200 people.

These spots will go fast (30k facebook fans will know about it when we launch, and we're getting interest from other golf ezine owners who want us to let their members know, we couldn't cork this volcano at this point even if we wanted to.)

To be alerted the second the doors are open, so you can get your spot (the first 30 days are free, so you can test-drive it before paying anything), go here:

DieHard Entrepreneur & Marketing Enthusiast | Golf, beer, cigars, ducks, and a little lead generation. Oh...and I have a 'slight' addiction to Tennessee Vol football. #vfl
Introduction
Hi I'm Eric and have a burning passion for three things in my life.  For me, my faith always comes first, and is my basis for how I live my life.  My awesome family comes in a very, very close second and is the driving force behind the passion I bring to my entreprenuerial pursuits.  And finally, my "way the United States is going to be saved" passion, Entrepreneuralism.  Being an entrepreneur has provided me, and thousands I've met with a level playing field to thumb our noses at societal norms and design our lives on our terms and no one elses.

Right now, there are two areas that are the focus of my entrepreneurial passion.  One being anything and everything marketing, specifically working with small business owners to increase bottom lines, and the other being my vices.  Golf, craft beer, cigars, duck hunting, deer hunting, drinking wine. Yea, pretty much that.

I've got project going in those markets so if you think we can help each other, let me know.

So that's my "deal" in a nutshell.  If anything I've said resonated with you, or you feel you could benefit from, or you have something you feel I might benefit from, let's connect and see where things go.  The best way to contact me is through email or by visiting my blog at eric-mcmillan.com.  Head on over there and let's connect soon.

Our kids LOVE Mrs. Angela! We were worried about finding the right daycare for our kids after our regular daycare was no longer an option. Her place is safe, clean, and very friendly for the kids.
