So one of my mentors suggested I look into a tax break for new businesses. I googled her keywords, and found a guy's blog regarding the tax exemption. It had a link to the form, explained it in non-CPA terms, and was exactly what I needed. The guy had a small link for his phone number, so I called it to thank him. He started crying on the phone because that was the first positive news he had heard in the last 3 weeks. Thank you world, for reminding me to always thank people, even complete strangers.

Cool, hip staff with a good value on bagel sandwiches. I got the Turkey Breast, and they let you choose your cheese and fixin's as well. I felt like I was walking into a coffee shop when I first entered, just the way the dining area looks. Good food, pleasant staff, solid value. Oh, and they're a Think Boise First member. Bravo!

Cool venue, being underground and plenty of space to have a conversation without someone eavesdropping. I've been in there 2 times, both to order coffee, not their food (which is why I didn't rate it). Both times my order has been forgotten, one being a simple drip coffee and the other a mocha. These weren't particularly busy times, I just think they key in on their food business. Unfortunate, because they're labeled for coffee. I threw The District a bone twice, and both times they sniffed and walked away. No wonder they're empty at night while Java and Flying M are packed. You've got your work cut out for you District!
