He looked quite content there, had a shelter from the rain, a bag of food, plenty of water...Not a bad gig. And what a view.

Life's good. Facing possible transition to the Reserves in February. Depends on whether I'm promoted. Girls are great, and the job's going well. I can't complain. I still get to bike to work each day.

What'd you do today? Well, it was raining in Verona, so we took a day trip to Venice, hung out at the Doge's Palace, and didn't get shit on by pigeons. All in all, a solid Monday.

It's better than a stick in the eye, I suppose; better than the more middling sorts of Mondays.  Terrific photo. Canaletto would approve.

Pretty sure this was the best meal until the wedding reception. Small restaurant in Trezzolono, no one spoke English, cheap house wine, great antipasto, amazing pasta, rabbit and lamb, and huge sides of veggies. And it all cost less than the bottle of wine the night before...

Carolina Auto Trim Inc

Carolina Auto Trim was the USAA recommended repair shop, so after an encounter with a deer, we took our Subaru there. Absolutely couldn't ask for better service. They kept us informed about the repair process, checked with us about any questions they had, completed the work on time, and the car now looks better than when we bought it. They do high quality work, period.

After the repair was complete, we noticed an issue with the new headlights and Carolina Auto Trim quickly replaced the headlights, without question. Absolutely great service. And, after the recent visit to replace the headlights, they even wiped down the exterior of the pollen covered car. Not a big deal, but to me it shows how seriously they take their jobs and how much attention they pay to their customers.

Absolutely great experience, hopefully never need their services again, but if so, will go back without hesitation.
Quality Excellent

Introduction
After years of self-directed exploration of leadership and organizational dynamics, I returned to graduate school at Gonzaga University . In December 2014, I completed my Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership. This program helped me develop new tools and approaches to understanding and exploring organizations. On an individual level, I focused on the concept of Servant Leadership, a leadership philosophy where the leader’s highest calling is to serve those they lead. At an organizational level, much of my work focused on foresight, visioning, adaptive learning, and organizational communication.

In my spare time, I am an three-time Ironman triathlete and an ultramarathoner. I live in Beaufort, South Carolina, with my wife Heather, our dog Wallace, and an antique RV named Harvey. Heather is an ordained minister with the Presbyterian Church (USA) and we relocated to Beaufort in 2008 when she accepted a call to serve the Sea Island Presbyterian Church as Associate Pastor.

This place is a hot mess. The only redeeming thing is that their staff members are really great. I had a return and a purchase and both folks who assisted me were very helpful. But, man, this place looked like a yard sale. The regular part of the store looked like it hadn't been straightened in weeks, clothes out of order, tees and shorts on the same rack, no order to the sizes. And don't ask about the clearance section, that was a disaster. Half of the clothes were on the floor. The checkout lines were long, but moved quickly. However, there were empty food wrappers and drink bottles laying around. A real mess, but if you need a $2 tee shirt, maybe it's worth it.

Really impressed with this little place. Mostly traditional Thai dishes. My group of four split a few appetizers, including a grilled meat skewer dish that wasn't on the menu, but that one member of my party knew about. I wish I could remember the name... We also had the drunken noodles: flavorful and spicy, the best kind of Thai comfort food. We also had a pork belly special that was outstanding, well seasoned, perfectly prepared, and huge. Finally, to even it all out, we went with spicy mixed veggies, which were impressive in their own right. I'd recommend Bangkok Garden and will visit again when I'm in Bethesda.

Store is clean and well organized. Unfortunately, the men's section is really picked over or didn't have much to start with. Lots of young men's stuff, but if you're looking for slacks or anything less than super casual, no dice.

So, who reviews a parking area, right? If you're coming here during the week, you should know that the parking lot doubles as parking for commuters. If it's full, you're not likely to find more parking close. I accidentally parked in a business parking lot close by. The owners were really friendly and didn't get too upset, but it was clear they had plenty of folks who parked there without knowing, or caring. There is an overflow lot by the DD, just across the street, but it's normally full too. There are spots reserved for the trail, but I've seen cars parked there all day, so I'm not sure if that's enforced. If you're heading to the trail on the weekend, parking normally isn't a problem, even if it's quite busy. But, weekdays...errr. Of course, you can always head up the road a bit to the next parking spot, but it's less convenient than this one at the end of the trail.

Really cool spot. We went with a few friends and had cocktails and small plates. Our group is all from the South and we were blown away by their grits, featured in the bacon and eggs starter. Admittedly, there wasn't anything we disliked: the cheese plate was solid with a wide variety of different cheeses, the mussels were great, fries went perfectly with mussels. The deviled eggs and egg rolls were outstanding. The hummus was a bit grainier than I like, but everyone else enjoyed it, so no worries there. Cocktails were creative and new, but with a nod towards traditional mixology. Our server was knowledgeable about all the cocktails and menu options, took plenty of time to answer questions, and helped a few of us pick out really interesting cocktails based on our preferences.

Outstanding venue, great shows, but the tickets may seem a bit overpriced. However, there are no ticket fees, so I think it's about the same price as a cheaper price plus fees. Protip: Arrive early in the say and set up your chairs or blanket to get the prime spot. The location is open all day and you can arrive anytime after 7 am and claim a spot.
