I've just discovered Bubble's URL share intent provider, which allows sending media from the web/other apps to Bubble, bridging the gap between web media and media renderers, ala Chromecast (but way better!). It even works for Youtube playlists, from the Youtube app.

The only gap vs Chromecast is support for "sharing" the current URL from a desktop browser to Bubble. I can see several ways this could work:

- Native browser extension that sends to Bubble on phone
- Run Bubble on desktop Chrome/ChromeOS using https://archon-runtime.github.io/. Not sure how to plumb a browser button to share intent, but should be possible.

The first option could be a generic "Share URL to Android Phone" extension, and probably something similar already exists.

Has anyone tried running Bubble on desktop Chrome via ARC/Archon?

Also, BubbleUPnP is a fantastic piece of software. Thank you!

Auto-sync for local repository

I use Orgzly with a local directory repository synchronized with other devices (laptop Emacs) via an external process (Syncthing https://syncthing.net/).

Manually triggering Orgzly's sync with the local repository is not ideal in this case. I'd prefer if Orgzly treated the local repository differently than remotes, and more like a text editor would: write changes immediately, with conflict detection ("File has changed on disk, do you want to save or load?") and polling for external writes to the current open file. Syncthing (or other sync tool) provides its own conflict resolution procedure (save both copies with a datestamp suffix), so Orgzly's procedure is redundant in this case.

For me, using a local repository, this feels like the most urgent feature need for Orgzly, and I wanted to make sure to provide feedback.

Best,
Eric

going to try +Arch Linux on my new home server, since I want to get used to +systemd

While staring at an ASCII table for this week's crypto homework, realized that XORing a letter with space flips between upper and lower case.
