http://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/214673/ConTessa-2017-Bundle-of-Awesome-BUNDLE This is your only chance to get Fire on the Velvet Horizon in PDF format, per the authors - I highly recommend this.

RPGs are for everyone.
So many folks freaking out about the official WotC D&D page's image for Pride Week. On what planet is diversity, inclusiveness and equality controversial? On Planet Bigot, that's where!

Fuck the haters. Love the lovers. Game on.

This is my favorite new RPG blog for 2017.
The post where I explain why you should tax your players: https://coinsandscrolls.blogspot.ca/2017/06/osr-death-taxes-and-death-taxes-part-2.html

Is longer than the post where I explain how to tax your players:
https://coinsandscrolls.blogspot.ca/2017/06/osr-death-taxes-and-death-taxes.html

But anyway, at least it's posted now. Come take a peek.

Fiend Folio was my first D&D book - the rules were opaque, but the art just grabbed me! +russ nicholson 's art will always say D&D to me. This is a nice little quarter-page illustration that really conveys the monster: that arm got cut off, but the hand is still choking...

Today's Free RPG Day take - 8 minutes after the store opened ( https://tacoma-games.com/ ) there were 2 copies gone already. Lost Caverns was $18. VAM's spells are a little spotty, but overall they're good; it beats Doom Cave, but it's not quite up there with Better Than Any Man.

Get a gram scale and weigh the bag at full capacity. In the morning, the player gets d6 beads, if they want, then you weigh the bag and they roll on a magical mutation table if they've got more mana than they can safely contain.

Player-side note taking and mapping: Staples quad-ruled steno book and Bic .7mm mechanical pencils.
