We're starting to get some clarity on when SpaceX will make its first Texas launches.

SpaceX has a chance tonight, if the weather holds, to turn new space from science fiction into reality. Here's why...
Today, weather permitting, SpaceX will launch its Falcon 9 rocket carrying the DSCOVR satellite. Of far more interest to me, and most space buffs, however, is the effort by the rocket company to re...

Because NASA’s Orion spacecraft was recovered by a U.S. Navy vessel neither the media nor public got much insight into the process. However Milt Heflin, a NASA engineer and flight director, was on board. He had a unique vantage point because not only did he participate in Orion’s recovery, he did so for eight Apollo splashdowns. Here is his account.

If offered a free ride into space aboard a private rocket a surprisingly low number of Americans -- 28 percent, according to a new poll -- would accept.

Here's my initial take on the President's budget request for NASA.

Here's my take on the space race between Boeing and SpaceX, which is perhaps the most exciting development in human spaceflight over the next two to three years.
With triumphant music playing and a couple of dozen blue-suited astronauts looking on, top executives from Boeing and SpaceX walked onto a stage at Johnson Space Center on Monday and launched a 21st century space race. After more than a year of sealed bids, and a subsequent protest against NASA's $6.8 billion in contract awards, the space agency and the two companies got a chance Monday to talk openly about their plans for restoring America's ca...
