Check out 'Nuclear Cuernos' on 500px :)
Here's a 1st shot from my Patagonia trip last year, scouting for my new 'Giants of the Andes' workshop next Autumn! After an easy one hour hike in Torres Del Paine National Park, I arrived at this beautiful location. The good thing about it is that it has a small bay which is relatively sheltered from currents and wind, and so is often more still compared to the other water pools. At twilight it was already pretty clear that I was going to have ...

An unbelievable misty morning above the intricate dunes of the Namib Desert. Shooting from a helicopter provides an astonishing angle of view on the world's largest dunes. We were nearing the point where we were supposed to head back when the pilot spotted the mist. It wasn't a very hard decision to go on for twenty more minutes! :) Join me to shoot this amazing place, among many others, on the 'Desert Storm' Namibia photo workshop this February!...

http://www.erezmarom.com/index.php/photography-workshops/view/northern-spirits-lofoten-winter-photo-workshop
The Lofoten Islands are a destination I've been dreaming of for a long time. Way up in Norway's Arctic northwest lies a small, yet incredibly beautiful and diverse archipelago, home to some of its most magical landscapes and a truly wonderful winter atmosphere. I visited the Lofoten Islands earlier this year to prepare for for my 'Northern Spirits' photography workshop, and it did not fail to excite me day after day. Pointy mountains rising above...

Check out this new mini-article on my website!
Landscape photographers love looking at forecasts, and for good reason. The readier you are for what’s going to happen, the better prepared you are for the cloud conditions, the light direction and the overall weather, the more you can plan your shot, and so you can get to the right place at the right time to achieve what you’ve been planning for a long time. I agree, and I fully support people who direct themselves mainly using forecasts. But I ...

This sound very familiar. I have spent a lot of time freezing my a** off while waiting for a big aurora event.
Now that lesson is learned, so i have my own ways to "predict" auroras instead of watching all the forecast pages :)
Well written, greetings from Norway :)

A new blog post on my website - this time a mini-article about composition in landscape photography, I hope you enjoy it :)
“It’s all about the foreground”. Generations of landscape photographers learn this principle the moment they first pick up a camera. Indeed, in classic landscape photography the foreground element is usually the dominant component of an image, and serves it in many forms. The foreground connects us to the photographer’s immediate environment by attracting the viewer to look at it. This eye-drawing quality stems from the fact that the foreground e...

'THE QUARTET'
Perhaps the four most photogenic trees in Deadvlei, Namibia, these four found themselves in my shots more than a few time. This time the early morning sun shone behind the immense dunes and transferred the pan from darkness into light.

Join me to shoot this amazing place on the upcoming 'Desert Storm' Namibia workshop:
