Very interest piece on revitalizing former bestselling authors as ebooks:

"Although e-book sales nationwide appear flat, HarperCollins told investors in December that its digital backlist revenue was up 40% from a year earlier in the September quarter. Those gains came as the sale of physical books continues to sputter, declining 2.4% from the prior year to 502 million units in 2013, according to Nielsen BookScan."

Strikes me that this is just one pointer towards the fact that backlist is becoming as competitive as front list and requiring more marketing dollars and time too.

We went a little mad about Fraughan's earlier this month, picking them, making jam and jam tarts and basically enjoying them hugely!
