Seasons Hospice Foundation's Camp Kangaroo, a 3 day camp for local kids aged 5-17 who had recently lost a loved one. Seasons counselors and volunteers used art and music therapy, and Envision provided equine therapy, an experiential modality that is a favorite of the kids. The program curriculum helped the children accept and express their feelings.

For kids and adults, it's that time of year!
Even healthy adults can become seriously ill, and can pass certain illnesses on to others. Everyone should have their vaccination needs assessed at their doctor’s office, pharmacy or other visits with healthcare providers. Certain vaccines are recommended based on a person’s age, occupation or health conditions such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), diabetes or heart disease.
Vaccination is important because it not only protects the person receiving the vaccine, but also helps prevent the spread of disease, especially to those that are most vulnerable to serious complications such as infants and young children, elderly, and those with chronic conditions and weakened immune systems.

‪Equine Assisted Learning promotes self-awareness, and personal development through experiential learning. The sessions are conducted with a professional Life Coach and a certified equine specialist. This program helps a client discover personal “road-blocks” in their relationships and to build new skills to move forward in life. Equine assisted learning helps individuals, and families needing transitional support during periods of family stress, foster care support, divorce, grief and loss. It is also helpful for building parenting skills and stress reducing coping skill for struggling teenagers. Additionally, this program helps victims of domestic violence, sexual abuse, and other emotional traumas. Clients learn skills to rebuild healthy relationships after experiencing victimization and/or trauma. Equine assisted learning helps empower clients against future relational abuse.
Sessions focus on building personal emotional awareness, verbal and non-verbal communication congruence, empathy development, understanding and building appropriate trust and boundary setting, personal empowerment, stress reduction, and leadership skills. Sessions can be conducted for adults, adolescents or children.
