This month it's +Candace Chira, owner of The VA Bug, a full-service virtual assistant firm specializing in marketing and social media. She's a TON of fun to talk to and incredible sweet! And if you're looking for a VA, she's your gal!

Thanks, Candace! So glad to have you apart of the community. :)

If you work for yourself, your boss is a crazy person. In +Brad Farris'  case, there are four crazy bosses that live inside his business brain. Find out who his neurotic boss characters are, and how he manages the different directions they pull him in—you might find out how to manage your own “inner bosses” too!

Your turn -- who are YOUR inner bosses?
Even if you are self-employed, every business owner has several bosses in their head telling them what to do! Brad explains.

Brad's presenting at this month's Wine & Web -- if you're around Chicago, it's one of our favorite marketing events in the city. Go!

Are you going to this month's Wide & Web? You should!

Tuesday, April 29, 2014 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM

Topic: Finding the Right Voice For Your Website

This month +Brad Farris, Editor at +EnMast Business Owner Community, will be coming to help us to figure out who our website is talking to and how we reach the right audience.

Now that our competitors have caught on to content marketing we need to work harder to stand out from the crowd — one way to do that is to have a really unique voice, a persona that's different from the competitors, and attractive to our target audience.

Brad is going to show you how to identify that target audience, find their online hangouts, learn about what they want to hear and then give it to them!

There's sure to be nerdy tools, inside jokes and lots of knowledge. Don't miss it!

We all have a love / hate relationship with email. For some of us, it's more hate than love. +jill salzman and +Brad Farris talk about different email alternatives that they've tried to help keep your inbox from being a daily overwhelming process with different tools, apps and processes. Take a listen to the latest podcast, and maybe.. just maybe you might be able to accomplish INBOX ZERO.

They also bring on wonderful small business owners, +Aksh Gupta  of Occasion, and +Gini Dietrich of Spin Sucks and Arment Dietrich to break down their business. You will love them!

Interrupting…it’s a bad habit many of us need to break. Today, +Brad Farris  has a story about how his five-year-old son shared a rhyme he learned at pre-school that completely changed his perspective on speaking over others.

How do you curb other people who interrupt you at work?

Great idea! This can be a daily struggle. Sometimes it's hard to be patient and just listen.

Sometimes employees are afraid to talk to us, especially if they want to ask us for something.

+Kaleigh Moore shares some greats tips on how employees can communicate with their boss (and get inside a leader’s head) so they can get what they're looking for from us.

Great insight into both ours -- and our employee's head!

There’s been some controversy whether or not it’s appropriate to headphones wear them in the office, major critics citing that employees isolate themselves from company culture. So today +Brad Farris and +Devan Perine talk about how it's affect their office on this edition of Cube vs. Corner.

How do you feel about employees wearing headphones at work?
