Why can't these companies just hire capable employees with skills? I thought that's how jobs worked... The right people get hired for the job. So is this going to cause these companies to hire potentially less qualified individuals because they are a minority? That doesn't sound fair at all. If that doesn't happen, that's awesome, and great for diversity. But it'll happen, and that is sad. I've seen other companies do this and they end up getting diluted with less skilled employees.

+Jonathan J. No gamers and ppl that have unlimited bandwidth are getting rid of cable not the masses. If cable was going away it would be much cheaper to have. Yes the numbers are rising but there are plenty of ppl who still have cable(specially people who still want that added bonuses of HBO and stuff like that you can't get through streaming yet).
