The Enclave Suites is a great budget hotel. For the price you pay you get a full suite with balcony and the views from the balcony are simply excellent. The rooms are a little dated and do need some renovation, but considering how much you'll be out and about in Orlando I wouldn't let it put you off really. The staff are all very pleasant and friendly (especially the breakfast staff, they're absolutely amazing). The location of the Enclave is excellent, it's a 5 minute drive to Universal Studios Resort. A 5 minute walk to Wet n Wild and not to mention all the wonders of international drive are on your doorstep. Getting to Disney World can be expensive but the hotels rates for transportation there and back are cheaper than Virgin! There are 3 pools, 1 indoor and 2 outdoor. All good size pools with hot tubs which are excellent. The Pizza Hut in the hotel is really handy when you've been out all day at the parks and just can't be bothered cooking as well! Overall, I would recommend the Enclave. I would happily stay there again.

SAVE YOUR MONEY!!! SHABBY, RUN-DOWN HOTEL!!! STAY ELSEWHERE!!! My 2nd stay at The Enclave Hotel & Suites was WORSE than the first. My In-Laws were generous enough to treat our family to two trips to Disney World, so hotel bookings were not my choice. Our first stay at the Enclave was disappointing (Sept 2011). The rooms didn't match what was advertised on the web. Our beds were so old that you could feel the springs and squeaked badly. Our bathroom was moldy and the water in the shower became cold within a minute of running. The free breakfast turned out to be fruit, packaged doughnuts, and juice boxes. Not bad, but not terrible either. One of the nights I was sitting up in bed, leaning against the headboard. A person in the room adjoining us must have bumped the shared wall because I was pushed forward off the headboard. Little did I know that the 2nd stay would be worse... My In-Laws booked The Enclave again for June 2015. 1st Day) My FiL requested two adjoining suites on the ground floor. We were given two suites on the 4th floor separated by another suite. We faced the amusement park next door so music and go-karts were our background noise. Again our bed was very old. It was a queen size; you rolled into the middle as soon as you got into it. My husband and I ended up sleeping propped up against each other whilst holding on the edge to keep from smothering each other. My daughter was the first to discover the scalding hot nature of the shower. A sign on the shower wall proclaimed that you pull the knob out to turn on the shower and turn left for hot and right for cold. The knob wouldn't pull out, only turn slightly to the left about an inch. The water came out, but the only temperature that came out was scalding hot. We brought this to the attention of management. They said they would get it fixed while we were out the next day. We took bird baths in the sink in the meantime. 2nd Day) After we got back from Disney we were all looking forward to showers and bed. The shower had a new shower head on it but the water was still scalding hot. Maintenance checked the water heater in our room and found out that the cold water leading to our room was turned off. He turned it back and and it STILL didn't solve the scalding water issue. They moved us to another room and we discovered that there is a HUGE difference in rooms booked by a discount travel site or directly with the hotel. The new room had a newer mattress; no sagging or getting poked with bed springs. The new shower didn't scald us, thank goodness!! 3rd Day) My FiL gets a call about us needing to pay for the 3rd room. After many calls/messages left they realized their error and gave us the 3rd room for free but didn't discount anything else. 4th Day) We are awoken by the elevator bell ringing, and ringing, and ringing. Turns out a guy got stuck in the elevator for a few hours. My daughter and I checked out the free breakfast they advertise. You have the choice of toast, 2 kinds of cereal, mini doughnuts, mini cinnamon roll looking things, coffee, sweet tea, orange juice, milk. Just pathetic. At least with our first stay, we were able to take our breakfast along with us. The entire time we were there two bins sat in the hallway right next to my In-Law's room. One for trash, the other for dirty laundry. You can imagine the smell that greeted you whenever you entered the hallway. The maintenance staff used a screwdriver to access the water heater closet, seriously?? We will NEVER stay at The Enclave ever again.

Hotel is in need of refurbishment. Room smelled like it had been a smoking room in years past. Mirrors in the bathroom were worn. TVs are circa 2001. TV channels lack a kids channel (they advertise nick jr but it wasn't). The continental breakfast is a total up sell ploy. You walk into a restaurant with pan cakes and egs and bacon. They let you sit down and wait for you to approach the counter before telling you that it's another $6 to eat this breakfast..... they then send you back to a breakfast of ceral and "toast" (in quotes because the toasters only slightly dry out the bread). That said the proximity to universal is great, and the pirates dinner theater sounded awesome from across the street.

Ok first off I think for the price we paid for this hotel, I can't complain alot.. We had a very nice stay at the Enclave.. Staff is nice room was nice.. But there is a big But... actually there are more buts... 1. They need to upgrade a little, at least replace the broken stuff like ripped curtains and broken lamps... maybe a nice paint job.. 2. For the kitchen a dishwasher brush would be nice.. But I managed. 3. the free breakfast is disgusting and not worth talki talking about.. We made our own breakfast.. because the upgrade $5,95 each day wasn't worth it either.. Walmart to the rescue.. 4. The pool area needs to get cleaned more then ones a day.. because of the birds they do get a little dirty l.. not inviting.. 5. The shuttle bus times to disney make no sense.. we went on our own.. After all this.. (little stuff) We had a great stay.. the staff was Awesome and nice.. would we stay here again? If we fimd ourselves going to Orlando again.. the Enclave is a great place to stay..

Unfortunately for us this was a last minute booking. I should've took a bit more time to get better for my money... they need to update the pictures ( picture not match real ).. bathrooms need a face lift. THE WHOLE RESORT needs face lift FOR REAL! NOT worth the money .... This is a 1 star resort! ... I must say that it was Conveniently close to many parks and good restaurats.

After being tricked into a JD reservation package that promised a 5 star resort stay, my husband & I were sent to the enclave. The hotel itself is in a decent location being walking distance to universal drive. Staff were nice enough, especially the night auditor Chip who checked us in. However the hotel itself is extremely old & warn out. Hallways have a terrible smell & rooms are furnished from the 70's. Bed mattresses seems to have not changed since the 70's. Could not be paid to stay here again, I advise you don't even bother to begin with or get involve with JD reservations.
