Harriet, i know just what you mean about comparing. I do it too, far too much! Tots had begun to annoy me so much that i just took my badges off a few months ago. It has been liberating, and I just blog now for the love of it. I really do! I love your blog sweetpea, as do so many others. No number or silly rank can reflect that! Xx
Ps. Such a gorgeous photo! X

Such a brilliant post Jude! I totally understand what you mean about the early starters. Over here June is the cut off for school years, meaning my August born son and May born niece - 10 months different in age - are both in the same class. The gap is narrowing now, but it was hugely noticeable in pre-school and Year 1, I totally applaud your decision to move your little man to a place where he will feel more comfortable. It sounds like he will thrive this year! I hope the first few days have gone well (for him, and for you too!) xx

Yay! You got the linky thing sussed Tracy! I'm delighted you've joined up, thankyou lovely! Your Summer hols sound like they've been amazing - I remember the sinking feeling of September all too well from my teaching days. Only eight weeks until half term! :)
I really love all your loves this month, particularly those culottes - so gorgeous! Xx

Such a gorgeous little family, and beautiful beachy photos too! It looks like such a lovely day Bunty - you were certainly cosy in your Joules pieces anyway. So lovely! Xx

I love your blog Harriet so obviously I'm going to say don't give it up! I totally know what you mean though. I took a two month break last Summet and really felt the benefits of it. I also really managed to grow my Instagram account during that time as I posted mini blog posts on there instead. Perhaps that's something you could do? It feels a bit less of a commitment than blogging properly but keeps your head in the game too. You are definitely not the only one to feel this way chicky - I have doubts every other week too! I really would miss you if you left though xx

Gorgeous photos Harriet and I totally understand how tough it is when the littles aren't on form. It's not you, honestly! Aww, I really hope your house move goes well in the next few weeks. I'm so excited to see it and hear about all your plans! :) xx

Pressed share too soon! Anyway, Saturday means very little in the fridge. It's normally crisp sandwiches (with ketchup) or cheese on toast. With the cheese off the toast. And the toast not toasted. Aaa rgh! :) xx

I laugh out loud chortled at the knife just missing the femoral artery. So funny Jude (not funny for Mr MMAEM obviously!) Oh my, this sounds just like brunch in our house too. We are always forgetting to shop for the weekend food - if I make it to Friday with my three fussy eaters fed,a I consider it a job well done

Haha, I'm giggling at your poetry dilemmas :) I totally agree about that book, but I do love First Day at School - it's one of my favourites (maybe better for older kids though!) We have a really old fashioned poetry book that my three absolutely love. I'll look the name out for you!
So glad that you got #noschoolnoplan sorted Jude. It sounds like you're really happy with your choice. Hooray! Love, love, love that bag and you know I was totally behind you in BiBs last year too. I love MMAEM such a lot! Xxx
