Forget the wine - we're going to the highlands of Jalisco!
I'll be handing over the floor to Sergio Mendoza, the fourth generation in a family of tequila producers and now managing the brand Don Fulano.

One of the reasons why I'm so pleased to be inviting you to meet Sergio is because with Don Fulano tequila, no short-cuts are taken. They monitor everything - from the estate-grown blue agave plants to the final liquid that is put in the bottle.

You may not have realised but there are in fact many parallels between Don Fulano tequila and natural wine. Just like how a winemaker tends his grapes, the agaveros ("agave producers") nurture their prickly plants until the moment is just right for them to be harvested. Just like with natural wine, these are also natural products, with no additives added during the distillation process.

The resulting tequilas are true works of art. There'll be no lime or salt... well unless they're in a margarita cocktail!! These are drinks to be sipped, enjoyed, savoured.

We'll be showing the blanco, reposado and anejo, straight and in cocktails.
A light dinner (Mexican, of course) will also be served. 30€ per person.

Contact burnt.cream@gmail.com to reserve your place.
