They're finally here.  Glass frames for people who need prescription lenses  or simply for those who want a new look for Glass.
New Frames & Shades for Glass

If we had a nickel for every time someone has asked about prescription lenses for Glass… well, we’d have a lot of nickels. So we want you to be the first to know that the Titanium Collection is here, with a handful of new styles for Glass so you can make it your own. Whether you wear prescription glasses or just want a new look, we’ve got four feather-light titanium frames designed just for you. And if you need prescription lenses and have vision insurance (such as VSP), your policy might even help cover your new frames. Explorers can access the Titanium Collection tomorrow afternoon, along with two new styles of twist-on shades.

This is only the beginning, and we can’t wait to hear which style is your style. Check ‘em out on our website, and tell us what you think: google.com/glass

Detroit here we come! #detroitthroughglass
Last month, we announced that we’re bringing Glass to cities across the US. We kicked things off in Durham, and now we’re headed north to the Mitten State. That’s right, Glass is off to Detroit: the Motor City, the birthplace of Motown and techno music, and the only place in the US you can look south and see Canada. Come try Glass on Saturday, November 16 and Sunday, November 17, at the Museum of Contemporary Art.

To attend, please RSVP here: http://goo.gl/ElwUq3

Wondering what it's all about? Check out the video below to get a feel for our Durham event, and stay tuned here on G+ to see where we're going next.

Can't wait to take Glass on the road...

See y'all in Durham!
Wanna try Glass? Damn right you do. Just kidding... but seriously if you do want to, we’re going to start bringing Glass to cities across the US so you can give it a spin. You’ll be able to try on Glass, ask questions and chat with the Glass team in person. We’re kicking off in Durham, NC, on October 5th and we’ll be on the road, heading to other cities after that. Stay tuned here on G+ and we’ll let you know where we’re going next.

If you’re interested in attending our first event in Durham, then please RSVP here: http://goo.gl/gfZ1ug

Such an Inspiring story about  one of our #ifihadglass  Explorers
+Alex Blaszczuk  inspired us from day one with her #ifihadglass application:

I am a New Yorker, a law student, a quadriplegic. #ifihadglass I could finally capture my life on my own. I would show the world how to thrive with physical limitations in the most interesting city on the planet. With Glass, paralysis doesn't have to be paralyzing.

Join her on a camping trip as she tells her story #throughglass. To learn more about Alex and her adventures with Glass, visit: alexbtrust.org.

This entire film was shot through Glass.

#ifihadglass   #glassexplorers  prepare yourselves to purchase :)
You told us what you would do #ifihadglass, now’s your chance to show us

Our Explorer Program started last year at our I/O conference when developers signed up to be the first people to try Glass. Last Tuesday, we finished inviting these developers to officially join the Explorer Program and we’re already seeing amazing things come from them. They've really embraced the Explorer spirit — the spirit of someone who’s ready to jump in, get their hands dirty and take on a challenge.

In February, we opened up the Explorer Program by asking people across Google+ and Twitter what they would do if they had Glass. We were looking for bold, creative individuals to become our next wave of Explorers — and wow, did we get them. Over the next few weeks, we’ll be slowly rolling out invitations to successful #ifihadglass applicants. If you were one of the successful applicants, please make sure you have +Project Glass in your Circles so we can send you a message.

We’re thrilled to be moving into the next phase of our Explorer Program and we hope to expand in the future. Unfortunately, we aren’t taking any more applications right now, but you can sign up here to stay informed: google.com/glass/start/how-to-get-one

One of our first #glassexplorers  doing epic things already!
My Adventure Teaching with Glass

As a Glass Explorer, my goal is to transform the way I teach science, making every moment a teachable moment. With the help of +CERN and +Project Glass, I've begun pursuing my goal in the most spectacular way - teaching a class of physics students from halfway around the world while touring the Large Hadron Collider. I'm so excited to share this incredible adventure with you.
