I took this photo because it reminded me of the Cones of Dunshire (http://goo.gl/RXKA1G) but I was rewarded with an Auto Awesome!

LOVE THIS! #PegmanLive  how about Katniss Everdeen?

Pegman just made the journey from classic maps to new Google Maps (http://goo.gl/s22248) and he's so excited about his new adventure, he can't stop dancing. But he has one problem – he can't figure out what to wear!

Help him out by suggesting outfits with the #PegmanLive. The P-man will be taking over the Maps +Page soon and responding with #selfies of his new duds all day.

My sister and her boyfriend make excellent drinks and as of recently you don't have to go to her house to drink them.

This is a great trick. And a reason to just upload all your stuff to Google+ Photos and see what you get :)

Google+ Photos automatically makes short animated gifs from bursts of related pictures, and a good #mopho will definitely make you smile. (mopho = motion photo)

#protip  It's super easy to see all your mophos in one place, even the hidden treasures from your old Picasa albums. Just search for the word "motion" in Google+ Photos or click this link: plus.google.com/u/0/photos/search/motion.

Today is my SEVEN YEAR Googleversary. When I started here, we had just barely started using +Gmail internally, all corporate phones were Blackberrys, and we had just over 10,000 employees. Now every startup I can think of uses Apps for everything, you can ask your +Android phone how tall Ryan Gosling is and it answers, I don't remember a life before +Google Chrome, there are 45K+ Googlers around the world, and sometimes we do things like build cars that drive themselves or balloons that bring Internet to remote places. And I've been lucky not only to have a hand in some of these crazy cool projects, but to work with a zillion brilliant Googlers while I did it. Here's to you guys.

Loving the #PegmanLive  stuff today. Check out the full album on +Google Maps - the owl, the Ryan Gosling, the mime, the hipster, the Richie Tenenbaum, the panda and others are all great.

Everything you've always wanted to know about Google but were afraid to ask: http://www.google.com/about/company/timeline/

OK, not really. But for Google's 15th, I put together this timeline of the company's history. So if you want to know what Google's first live-action doodle was (Charlie Chaplin), or the first country outside the U.S. where we launched Street View (France, for the Tour de France), or how many people are using Gmail now (425M)... you know where to go. Also, I knew all those facts in my head, so aren't you jealous?

On our 15th birthday, explore a timeline of Google's history: http://g.co/96jf. Thanks for being a part of it! Here's to much more to come.

Reading it bit by bit. Impressive work (yours and Google's).

This is pretty funny, but what's awesome about it is that the cat is actually up for adoption:
Earlier today, visitors to the Chicago Tribune's homepage were greeted not with traditional lead story or splash image. Instead, there was an adorable kitty, a placeholder headline, and the word test over and over again. While it was a welcome break from the the usual gloom and doom, it was also very clearly a mistake. One that Trib Social Media and SEO Manager Amy Guth was kind enough to dissect for us over email.

Oldie but goodie:  the fascinating act 2 of the Tribes episode of This American Life (which incidentally celebrates its 500th episode this weekend!).
