Outstanding accommodations, best hospitality, beautifully restored, wonderful food, warm and inviting B&B. The hosts, Laura and Raymond, and staff are amazing. This is a "gem" in the Dupont Circle neighborhood. Stayed for 4 nights in December and highly recommend. Yes, I loved my experiences with the Embassy Circle Guest House from booking to departure.

This may be the best bed & breakfast in the US and the reason is simple, the hosts are exceptional (Laura & Raymond). You eat breakfast and have a 5 a 7 with all the guests, seated together at one table and the ambiance is great. The hosts really create a friendly atmosphere and have tons of suggestions for restaurants and places to visit. On top of that, the place is exceptionally nice, with beautiful carpets and paintings throughout and a staff that is very friendly and professional. When we return, our choice of lodging will be easy.

My wife and I prefer to stay at Bed & Breakfast Inns whenever we travel. We found the Embassy Circle Guest House on the internet, and it is simply the finest Inn we have ever visited! Our room was immaculate, the location was perfect for tourists like us, and Raymond’s ability to find street parking for our car was most helpful. But most impressive was the kindness of our hosts and their ability to make us feel more like visiting friends than guests. Laura's ability to remember every guest’s name and introduce us to each other added to this welcome feeling. And we would be remiss if we forgot to mention the wonderful cocktail hours each evening and Raymond’s delicious grilled sausages and dipping sauces that were served the second night we were there! Angela and the rest of the staff were polite and helpful, and we are already planning our next visit! Don't even think of staying anywhere else when you're in D.C. Thanks, Raymond and Laura!

My husband and I were exhausted from the planning of our wedding and from the excitement of our wedding day. We happened to find the Embassy Circle on the web and took a chance at choosing this for our honeymoon destination. The location is fabulous! From the moment we made our reservation, to the time we checked out, all the details of our stay exceeded our expectations. This B & B is gorgeous and Laura and Raymond are outstanding hosts. On our first day, Raymond offered to drive us to our first destination, which was very helpful. The day we left Laura and Raymond gave us a bottle of champagne to open on our first anniversary and Raymond drove us to the train station. We may decide to go back to this beautiful B & B on our anniversary. Whenever we travel we always seek out a B & B, as they provide the feel of a home. Each morning we looked forward to the breakfast conversation with guests from all over the world. We could not say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay!

My husband and I stayed at the Inn for three nights this month. Laura and Raymond are smart, warm, thoughtful hosts as are their staff, Betty, Irina and Kate. Their attention to detail, friendliness and knowledge of the city (attractions, restaurants, means of travel) is extraordinary. I doubt the finest concierge in the city could match the service provided at the Inn. The Inn itself is spectacular. The Saba’s have renovated the former embassy from top to bottom. All the rooms are gorgeous…gracious, and simple yet luxurious. The common areas are exquisitely decorated and guests are welcomed to make use of them. The Inn is close to restaurants and a 5 minute walk to the Dupont Circle Metro Station – it is very easy to get to the museums, galleries and monuments. It is also great fun just walking in the neighbourhood. The former mansions of the Washington titans (politicians, financiers, masters of industry) now house foreign embassies. Laura will give you a list of favourite restaurants nearby, and her taste is scrumptious. We ate at Pesce (twice) and Mourayo and will go back to both next time in town. We looked forward to the delicious breakfast in the morning. After exploring Washington for hours, it was lovely to return to the Inn in the afternoon and have tea and fresh cookies waiting for us. The evening informal soirée (wine and treats) between 5:30pm and 7pm was filled with laughter and lively, good-natured discussion among all the guests and our hosts. We met guests who have returned to Embassy Circle year after year, and we intend to join that group.

Don't expect too much in terms of accommodations. It's a good deal for DC though!

My wife and I have stayed many times at Bed and Breakfast and small inn's around the world. Embassy Circle is by far the finest Bed and Breakfast in a major city we have ever stayed at. The accommodations are first class. The house is unique, located in a world class location steps from many embassy's from all over the world. It is an easy 2 block walk to the Metro and you can be anywhere in a matter of minutes. The host's Laura and Raymond make you feel like you are part of the family. The nightly conversations over wine and snacks is a must attend for everyone. You meet the nicest people from all over the world. If Raymond is cooking one of his world class meals, cancel your reservations you will not want to miss these great evenings. If I could give it 10 stars I would We have stayed 2 or 3 times and make detours on our way to or from anywhere on the east coast just to stop for a few days. Don't waste your time staying anywhere else! You will not be disappointed.

Embassy Circle Guest House on upea majoitusmahdollisuus keskellä Washingtonia. Se sijaitsee lyhyen kävelymatkan (n.2 km) kaikista keskeisistä nähtävyyksistä. Muutaman sadan metrin päässä on metroasema. Embassy Circle Guest House is magnificent accommodation in the middle of Washington. It is a short walk (approx. 2 km) from all the major attractions. A few hundred meters away from the metro station. As it is named Embassy Circle Guest House is located in the heart of the Embassy district, which is a very quiet and safe environment. There are excellent restaurants where you might meet persons from political elite. The best thing about this place is, however, the House itself and its owners Laura & Raymond as well as their staff. The House has been lovingly and thoughtfully restored and decorated. It is very clean and a high level accommodation. Owners Laura and Raymond have created an atmosphere like home with a large heart. All guests are welcomed with love and great hospitality. They have a great desire that all guests are enjoying their stay. The breakfast is plentiful and really tasty. All guests do sit around the big table having to opportunity to get to know each other’s with Laura’s and Raymond’s help. During the long weekend we met a number of delightful nice people. After spending a long day of sightseeing it was nice to sit down in the living room along with the other guests and share experienced memories before going to dinner. Virpi & Mikko
