New York Whether you’ve got two days or two weeks, there’s always so much to see and do in New York – it is, after all, the city that never sleeps. Can’t get tickets to Hamilton? No worries, head to Ellen’s Stardust Diner where the staff – mostly Broadway hopefuls – sing while they bring you food and drinks. Brooklyn may no longer be under the radar but it’s still worth a visit for cult stores, such as fashionable favourite Catbird, bars and peop...

Cool experience! We went on a recommendation for the experience of the performers singing while we eat. If you're looking for a quiet eatery, don't go here. But, if you enjoy talented Broadway aspiring wait staff to entertain you while you eat, this is THE place!! The food was pretty good too. We got a plate of nachos for the table -- it was huge, and quite good. We also got various burgers with waffle fries, and all of us were happy with our meals.

We went to Ellen's on the first morning of our 4 day trip to NYC. I expected a line but got a table right away on a cold morning. This place is so much fun - where else can you get quick, diner food while seriously talented singers belt out great tunes and wait on you?! We were in the best mood after we left and it definitely set us up well for a big day of sightseeing in the cold.

Love the singing waiters! Very nice atmosphere and a must do for everybody visiting the city. Also the food is very tasty. I had the rainbow bagel and would recommend it to people who want to try something different from an otherwise pretty standard breakfast menu.

We waited about half an hour for a table on a Monday night and it was totally worth it! Our kids (10 & 14) loved it and said they'll never be able to enjoy a regular restaurant again. Great way to bring people together.

A fun place to come eat. The food was decent if a bit generic. The selling point for this place is the waitstaff who actually take turns performing musical numbers. I had visited around Christmas so they were doing quite a few Christmas carols and the like. The place itself is also very interesting in terms of décor. Worth a visit especially if you have younger kids or are a fan of musicals.

Worth the wait on line. The servers had great voices and were good actors. They were having fun and invited you into the experience. If you have a young daughter she will be in heaven here, watching and listening to some of her favorite songs. The food was also very good. It is more expensive than other restaurants, but you are paying for the experience. It was around $30 per person including tip. I would almost rather go here than see some of the shows on Broadway.

Awesome restaurant!!! The waiters are singers and they are great: beautiful voices and they do arrangements on the fly, which is fun and so interesting! Besides, you get to enjoy a variety of songs (old, new, from Broadway, wow!) and these talented artists are waiting tables until they can get into a Broadway show!!! Food is awesome as well: you can pick from a broad variety that does serve all palates.

This was a great experience. All the staff are "starving actors" trying to make it on Broadway and so they take turn singing on the tables and all over the restaurant. On top of this the food was surprisingly good!
