Vegan, atheist, liberal, teetotaler, and proud geek!
Introduction
My full name is Elizabeth Mary Lowry.  I am a vegan, a teetotaler, and a proud geek.

I was born in Fort Ord, CA and attended kindergarten in Oahu, HI.  I started first grade in Virginia Beach, VA, where my dad finally got stationed permanently - he was in the Navy and didn't retire until I started college.

I earned B.S. degrees in Physics (Honors Scholar) and Computer Science (In Honors) at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA, graduating (Summa Cum Laude for both majors) in May of 2009.  I've finished all the coursework for my M.S. in Computer Science - I just need to finish revising my thesis...

I interned at Microsoft in Redmond, WA over the summer of 2007 and at Google in Mountain View, CA over the summer of 2009.  I worked at Zynga in San Francisco, CA on the Cafe World team from mid-July of 2010 to early January of 2011.  I worked for Amazon.com in Seattle, WA from early April of 2011 to early January of 2013.

From 2013 to 2015, I am currently attended the Game Programming course at the Academy of Interactive Entertainment's Seattle campus.  During my second year, I also briefly interned at MythTech, working on the game SolTera.

After graduating, I started work at Kaio Interactive.  I now make games and apps, and I'm doing interesting things with augmented reality.
