"Great property but terrible service"

"During my stay at the Palace of the Lost City in Africa on 13th May 2013, my 13,500.00 USD, two vertue and one Nokia Lumina mobile phones were stolen from a locked suitcase that was placed on the chair in our room.

Even though I have raised an official complaint to the hotel authorities, they have not yet come up with a positive response to me. It is really unfortunate that they have neither been able to  identify the suspect nor any negligence or wrong doing from the staff there.

From my personal experience, my advise is not to select the Palace of the Lost City in Africa for your stay or any other purpose in order to avoid such disappointing incidents happening to you too.

The Polona Digital Library (together with The European Library) provides access to some of the most exquisite ancient maps. One such work is the detailed Cosmography by Claudius Ptolemy, an astronomer, geographer, mathematician and astrologer who lived from 90 - 168 AD. Read more here:

Our latest news piece - Journey to the Orient with this Rare Polish Treasure. Waclaw Seweryn Rzewuski was born in 1784 in Lviv, Ukraine. He was a poet, scientist and explorer who was fascinated with the Orient. He became a hero of the 19th century imagination and appears as a galloping figure traversing through Polish romantic literature and art.

Just wish I could be in Bomarzo right now. On my own. Walking the cobble streets and climbing up the medieval bell tower with not a living soul in sight. There is nothing like it in the world.
