In honor of current history being made, some free fiction.
Official Post from Elizabeth Bear: This month's fiction is not just for subscribers, because this one is for Abigail Adams. And about Abigail Adams, for that matter. This is the only actual alternate history story I have ever written.(Sorry, Hamilton fans: he's only in here for one sentence, and as the Loyal Opposition. The Adams/Jef

8:30 pm on Saturday, March 7th.

The Pixel Project proudly presents our live "Read For Pixels" Google Hangout with Elizabeth Bear, the award-winning author of the ETERNAL SKY sequence.

Ms. Bear will be reading from one of her books, and talking about her support for stopping violence against women and girls, as well as answering questions from fans.

She has also donated some very cool (and exclusive) goodies to the Read For Pixels 2015 (International Women's Day Edition) fundraiser.

More details on how to donate to the campaign to get your hands on these goodies are coming on March 1st 2015.

The inaugural “Read For Pixels” 2015 (International Women's Day Edition) Google Hangout series features live Google Hangout Readings with award-winning bestselling female authors in support of the Celebrity Male Role Model Pixel Reveal campaign (http://reveal.thepixelproject.net), which aims to raise US$1 million in aid of The Pixel Project (http://www.thepixelproject.net) and the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence (http://www.ncadv.org).
This Hangout On Air is hosted by Regina Yau. The live video broadcast will begin soon.

It's Karen Memory book day! *Oils up the shiny hype machine.* *Brings it to pressure.* *Checks that all gears are functional.* So I wrote this book, see? It's a steampunk adventure set in a fictional city in the Pacific Northwest during the Alaskan Gold Rush. It stars a young woman who goes by…

+Robert MacAnthony And if you look critically at Politifact, you see where bias affects their judgment calls. I remember one article where I was reading happily and nodding in agreement until I got to the last paragraph or two, where they called the statement somewhat against Sanders' accuracy when I would've used the same evidence to argue that Sanders was being completely honest. Humans are biased, and that's going to affect any judgment call. In Politifact's case, they like Clinton.

One thing for sure because we have the video: she wasn't in danger in Bosnia.
