I am pleased to announce a practical workshop in Milano in November (18th and 19th). The workshop, titled: "Marketing your startup begins with understanding your Communities" is a 4 hours, hands on workshop.

❥ Why we created it

Startup marketing is no child’s game. There are many theories and case studies and many ways to do it but they all have one common challenge: they are focused on “target audiences” and on segmented storytelling.

Often “Marketing strategy” and “business growth” (or growth hacking) strategy are perceived as two different things, aimed at different goals.

❥ What’s different about it

Engagement Strategy is new and different approach, based on a unique model developed by Elinor Cohen, over years of working with startups and other businesses and accompanying their growth.

In this workshops you will get a chance to experience the model, learn about a different, community based, approach to marketing and business development, and practice perfecting your pitch and story, unifying it to one consistent and relevant message to all your communities.

Participants will have a chance to practice, network, ask questions and receive practical tools and tips for creating a strong strategy for their venture. Elinor Cohen is an Engagement Strategist (a combination of Community Management, Content Marketing, Online Marketing and Social PR), dedicated to helping brands grow, evolve and engage. Focused on the Human aspect of anything and everything around us and remembering that all business is done with and between people, she works with brands to help them evolve and adopt the B2P approach – Business to People. Based in the world’s innovation hub – Israel, the Start-up nation – Elinor is working globally with brands from around the world.

Elinor is the creator of the 3W’s model for engagement strategy and trains founders, executives and marketing managers worldwide in strategy, business growth, social media and community management.

Since 2014 Andrea organizes events in Italy like Lean Startup Machine - Milan workshop, Mashable Social Media Day Italy and Protohack Milano hackathon; he is also actively involved in the Milanese startup ecosystem and also the curator of Digital District Milano agenda of digital events and editor of Startup Guide for Milano.

In the last five years he has been working for some different social media agencies doing Community Manager experiences, improving my know-how managing social media profiles, social media monitoring platforms,and managing forum and community for different customers.

In his previous job life he was a geek technician.

Great use case of a 360 (VR) #video for promotional purposes. You can do amazing things when you tell the right story, the right way. #VR, when done right, helps you immerse your viewer in the story.
 
In this video the Humaneyes team collaborated with the Aspen Institute in Colorado, to create a rich, 360 immersive experience of Aspen, its surroundings, the Institute and its activities.

Introduction
I am The Social Fairy (Elinor Cohen) - A "Jill of all trades", I've been trained in many fields including social sciences (political science and International Relations), Computers (web development and Java), Life Coaching and more.
My career path took me miles away from my childhood dream of world politics and diplomacy to the global village which is the Internet and its many exciting opportunities. For the past 10+ years I've focused on writing, editing, networking and anything to do with Social Media Marketing and Community Management.
I have a passion for knowledge and I am an "info-holic". I read about everything and anything, and if I hear something I didn't know about before I make sure it doesn't stay that way. Good thing I'm a fast learner... 

I am a book worm, I write poetry and paint and I am a crazy cat lady!

I have a gift for languages and I speak 5: Hebrew, English, Romanian, Arabic and Dutch. I am currently learning Italian and wish to learn many more languages in the future.
