Until then enjoy the HVOB live video we did 2012 at Electronic Beats Festival in Vienna.
Over the past 9 years, Slices, established by Telekom Electronic Beats, has been a frontrunner in capturing insights into some of the most creative talents in electronic music, featuring interviews and live performances with artists including Jon Hopkins, Theo Parrish, Ben Klock, Nicholas Jaar and many more...
However, this distinguished quarterly DVD is being drawn to a close to be replaced with a more concise series of weekly online features under the Slices banner, all available via ElectronicBeats.net. Launching on March 4th and going live every Tuesday from there on in, the content will be accessible to a global audience, continuing to feature top electronic musicians from around the world.
Each episode will be exclusive to the Electronic Beats website for 7 days, and after that, available to be shared publicly on youtube and dailymotion.
The very first episode will be the 'New Faces' feature, focusing on a young electronic duo from Vienna, HVOB, (Her Voice Over Boys). Following in the wake of their eponymous and well-received debut album released via Berlin label Stil Vor Talent.
The following week is scheduled to feature B-Pitch Control’s Dillon, in the run up to the release of her second album ‘A Matter of Time.’ This Brazilian born and Berlin based singer/ pianist, known for her fragile electronica, exhibits her unique sense for emotional songwriting on her new album, as one of the most interesting and imposing storytellers today.
On the 3rd consecutive week, expect to see The Mole taking us through a rare and unique interview. Otherwise known as one of the core members of Cobblestone Jazz and the Modern Deep Left Quartet, this press-shy veteran producer has plenty of insight to share.
An impressive range of artists are confirmed to be featured over the coming weeks such as Moderat, tobias., Ten Walls, Alex Banks, Henrik Schwarz’s collaboration with Bugge Wesseltoft and Dan Berglund...
More access to more in-demand artists, more often, all in high definition, all via Electronic Beats TV.
You will also be able to stream each episode on the EB-Video app (available for iOS on iPhone and iPad). New host of the series, Matt Digby, will take you through everything in the video below.
