Day 172 of #365poems!

#haiku   #poem
There is a moment when the winds stop, no leaves clack, and our breath hovers. I am writing one poem every day in 2016, and I am using the hashtag #365poems to document my progress.

Happy Tuesday! #graceinsmallthings
1. I went to a David Bowie film festival at the RPL Film Theatre, and I got this fab new t-shirt. 2. I'm back on my feet. I was laid low by recent events for most of last week, but I'm back in fine fettle thanks to Aidan, good food, and sleep. 3. I took time away from writing my #365poems series while I was down, but I'm back at it and have a number of drafts brewing. 4. I remembered to put Aidan's slow coo...

I had never stayed at executive suites like this — I've only used hotels before — and I will definitely be back. It felt like moving into a home away from home with the fully outfitted kitchen, walk-in closet, comfy beds, and washer/dryer. We shopped for groceries at the fantastic Sunterra Market downstairs, walked to a barbershop and local restaurants, and we actually stayed in more than we thought we would because the place was so cozy. Thanks so much the great stay, Roseman! I'm already making plans to come back.

I ate there for the first time this morning after being told repeatedly that their dim sum was fantastic, and it was no word of a lie. We ate until we couldn't move, it was all delicious, the service was good, and the prices were definitely affordable. I will be going back. A lot.
