Did you hear about the oddeties of PRG's  petition to the Obama Administration to support congressional hearings for government/agency/political witnesses to extraterrestrial related events and evidence.
Over the first 21 days the petition had been active: 1) the short promotion link provided by the White House website broke for two days directing people to a page of garbled text, 2) a campaign by one or more persons was conducted generating nearly 1,000 fraudulent signatures hundreds at one time with exactly the same initials and city, and 3) the petition was locked up for multiple days not accepting signatures. None of this happened to any of the previous six petitions check out http://wh.gov/igRrq for the latest status and if you are American why not sign it while you are there ?

A very delayed holidays greeting to all of you.

Has been a tough year, cancers on both sides of the family taking it's toll but everyone is still hanging in, would be nice to see people stop fighting and spend money on ridding the world of the scourge of cancer instead... maybe 2015 will end up bringing more sanity to the world... one can always hope. Being apart from my wife Jindong Ding for an extended period of time ended in July, while I was proud of her attaining a research position at Harvard and priveledged enough to manage to see her twice in the US while she was there it is nicer to have her home. In 2014 I again experienced multiple hacking attempts (do these guys never get tired ?) this time it was against mail systems and social accounts, I hope I have managed to make certain there are no "adverse" effects... but the time consumption is insane when you experience stuff like this and has close to capsized multiple projects I have been working on that I hope to recover nevertheless. The wife suffered multiple attempts at abuse of her credit card, but was saved by automated systems, but still a nuisance nevertheless... In 2014 I've been through a job change... was underway for quite some time, well... it was probably more of an now I've got a yellow badge instead of my blue one :) thing with the added bonus of being able to say no ;) at least to an extent, but nice nevertheless. The general hustle and bustle of living also been keeping me busy I'm till working with the whole publishing thing, my children's stories already translated into English, Chinese also came into a Korean translation (under edit) - in addition to being available in Faroese (original) off course. I Have also managed to finish the first draft of Vimanas a scifi short with NWO conspiracies, AI and polar bears all thrown in and progressed towards preparing a fun little play putty project related to another of my stories so as to creativity - A top notch year, though I could have done more was it not for previously mentioned distractions.

It's been a good year for solar power with efficiency rising and production prices falling, though we've seen politicians countering potential by giving in to the oil and energy lobbies trying to restrict installation etc. however 2015 could be a year of encouragement for even more sustainable energy, I was certainly encouraged when visiting my mum in the Faroe Islands late 2014, with the wind power projects etc. they've got going on - at the moment of writing this piece a whopping 86% of the electricity produced and consumed in the Faroe Islands is from sustainable sources, only 14% is not.. will the Faroe Islands become the first country in the world producing all it's power from sustainable sources, I don't know but I am surely encouraged by seeing such numbers and would wish that the Faroe Islands would be able to shine such a beacon to the world.

As for new year promises... let's just agree to make thing better in every way we can!

All the best to all of you and thanks for everything in times past!!!

+Tobias Hansen Iceland's electricity is produced almost entirely from renewable energy sources: hydroelectric (70%) and geothermal (30%). Less than 0.2% of electricity generated came from fossil fuels (in this case, fuel oil). In 2012 there was no wind power installed in Iceland <- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electricity_sector_in_Iceland ;) so not 100% but nearly...

Sea Shepherd activists in a show of their true face turn to violence and verbal abuse in the Faroe Islands.

Sea Shepherd activists verbally attack man from municipality, destroy public property and then run off like cowards once they get outnumbered as people realize a virtual mugging is taking place and people run to the harbor to help the poor guy from the tiny municipality of Skopun, who is simply asking why they are breaking the locks when all they have to do is ask each time they want to use the landing, just like everyone else in the small village. Something the so called activists (in reality nothing but thugs) respond to with violence and abuse.

This is yet another example of the terrorists of Sea Shepherd organization attempting to create trouble and attacking the Faroese People, customs.

The interview with the man from the municipality explains how his car was attacked, how he himself was verbally abused and how the activists jumped up on the hood of his car, how they broke the locks and tried to destroy the car doors etc. after he confronted them about destroying the locks to a boat landing.

These so called activists lead by a man wanted internationally have made it their mission to create "soap tv" for the masses spewing lies and falsehoods about the Faroe Islands.... I wonder when people will wake up and see them for the Terrorist Organization they are!

Solar Power just got greener and cheaper!!!

Imagine this, a toxic chemical compound replaced with good old novel sea salt costing a mere 0.3% of the price of the toxic chemical cadmium chloride used to boost efficiency, just think incentives for toxic waste dump schemes for cadmium chloride polluted materials disappearing into thin air...

Now how's that for good news this Monday?

http://www.geek.com/science/sea-salt-can-replace-solar-panel-component-for-0-3-the-cost-1598014/

Share the news and help push humanity as a whole one step closer to realizing that an energy cartel independent lifestyle and a healthier planet is possible and that it just got a little bit cheaper.
New evidence shows that cadmium chloride, a toxic and expensive part of solar panel production, can be replaced with a special form of sea salt.

On the subject of one of the great questions are we alone in the universe

I encourage you to read and upvote this post and if you're American you might be very interested in this unique opportunity and sign the petition, as the result of an official Congressional hearing on the subject would be most interesting don't you think ?

Charge your electric car in 5 minutes ? Mobiles in seconds perhaps, create an energy storage for your home - A 10.000 charge cycle lifespan (up to 20 yrs). Safe benign materials from soil used, also found as safety approved substances in foods and sunscreen. Going to a decentralized grid structure just became easier and cheaper, independence from fossils, oil barons and energy cartels now even more likely in the near future. Nanyang Technology University (NTU) have the answer for you and are already licensing the technology out to first movers http://media.ntu.edu.sg/NewsReleases/Pages/newsdetail.aspx?news=809fbb2f-95f0-4995-b5c0-10ae4c50c934

Cheaper yet solar cells

http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2014/09/140918141452.htm

Scientists break the electrode barrier allowing for virtually any metal to be used in solar cell production thus paving the way for solar cells based on

available cheaper and safer metals pushing prices downward yet again. Time to crank up the production and tap into the x 7000 times our current consumption power plant that is supplying us with free constant power each and every day at virtually zero cost other than production cost for the cells themselves.

Ask yourself, is it not time to rid ourselves of reliance on monolithic oil companies, senseless energy cartels and the energy wars, as well as the centralized energy distribution net that allows one country to threaten another with a kind of "cold" war by potentially cutting off one or more countries from their energy sources ?

Ask yourself, is it not time for humanity to begin living as independent and free individuals, in peace with each other and with all the conveniences technology has to offer everyone ?

You can be the change!
For decades, polymer scientists and synthetic chemists working to improve the power conversion efficiency of organic solar cells were hampered by the inherent drawbacks of commonly used metal electrodes, including their instability and susceptibility to oxidation. Now for the first time, researchers have developed a more efficient, easily processable and lightweight solar cell that can use virtually any metal for the electrode, effectively breaki...

The Germans do it again! - 50% of all energy consumption from solar power... if Germany can, why can't the rest of the world ?

In what looks like another bold move Tesla seems to be opening up patents for others to use in an attempt at creating a standard. This time it is related to the supercharging mechanism for Tesla's electric cars. It is nice to see further "community spirit" coming from Teslas founder Elon Musk who not long ago shared design plans for a high speed transportation system the Hyperloop and fashioned it into an open collaborative effort. Sure Tesla would benefit but don't you think IBM also benefitted from opening up the PC design ? It is time to tear the walled gardens of patents down, to the benefit of mankind. It is time to unleash the full potential of mankinds innovative spirit.

+Mario Garcia aboslutely KISS is a most venerable concept and I agree proprietary will not get us to where we ultimately want to be, namely free to innovate and create.
