Lately, I've been playing a lot with film to a point where I'm doing my developing and scanning at home. As you can see on my stream, I do long exposures of landscapes, but I am always fascinated with long exposures of people walking. On Sunday 10-27-13, I spent my afternoon around the ferry building. I walked into the main hall and I did the setup of my tripod and I did a 4 seconds exposure. While I was doing the setup, this gorgeous couple with a photographer walked in front of my holga for a few seconds. I walked out of the ferry building wondering if they were still during shot. A few day went by and I was curious to see the results, so I developed the film and this was the result when I pulled the film out of the developing tank (of course I did some cropping on lightroom).

In 2007 my life changed radically, so I left everything behind and moved to the San Francisco Bay Area. I started a new life here in the bay, new job, new family, and new friends. In 2011, this is the point in my life where I seriously started doing photography.
My approach for photography is changing my life every day. My sense of appreciation of everything around me has become deepest every day. Also, the more I learn, the more I realize that I need to learn more. I can’t call myself a photographer, I still have a lot to learn, I still need to gain more experience and develop a clear a vision of what I am doing, but I really enjoy my time behind the camera, when I look around for my subjects, when I stand next to a lake and enjoy the moment, when I see the last minutes of the sun hitting the top of the mountains, all these moments are priceless and make me feel that I am going on the right path.
