It looked so cool in the movies, but now, not so much.

Wednesday's post Brexit protest. This isn't sour grapes, but part of England's democratic tradition. It is no different from writing to your MP/Senator/Congressmen, just alot more visible.

Damn right I would have found this offensive, and sort of religious advertising, including bill boards is offensive. Glad the cinemas in the UK had the sense not to air it

+FEMINIST KILL ALL MEN
1) not sure there is any evidence for some sort of left wing media conspiracy in the UK. If there is a conspiracy its not the whole media in the UK as the most of the news organisations that reported this included very obvious links to the churches advertisement so you could watch it if you chose too. The Guardian for example is a traditionally left wing liberal newspaper.

2) is only irrelevant if religion is given some level of privilege in free speech, otherwise its no different to anything anyone else says, so here we have two different groups of media organisations in two different countries both choosing to not publish information, so no real difference at all

Religious belief appears to have negative influence on children’s altruism and judgments of others’ actions even as parents see them as ‘more empathetic’

Don't mourn organise: Somehow in the 90's we forgot how and why we do this. Sometimes the political establishment needs reminding that they are supposed to represent ALL of us. Polls, focus groups, MP surgeries and letters to the editor aren't enough.
Get out there organise and enter the dialogue with rest of our society.

Resharing post from Jenny Winder

Brexit Was Sold As A Victory For The Working Class. It Isn’t.
The leading figures in the Brexit saga have been wealthy politicians who won’t suffer the economic repercussions.

Located inside Spitalfields Market. On warmer days there is 'outside' seating, tables not benches, on the balcony terrace overlooking the market. Food and service are the usual good standard for Wagamamas.

The easiest place to park of you are climbing at Burbage North, Burbage West or the Burbage South Boulders. It's popular with walkers so will most likely be full on dry weekends, so get there early. Parking 5pm onwards during the summer is 'usually' ok. At a push there is also some limited roadside parking over the bridge towards to edge and past the gate into the main path
