A Lunar base could be on step closer if the Open University's V-VRAP lander gets the go ahead from ESA at its next meeting in November. This laboratory lander will be used to sample volatiles at the lunar surface.
Researchers in the UK have presented plans for an extraplanetary laboratory that will determine whether it will be possible to establish a base on the Moon, or potentially Mars.

Stanage Edge in the UK is under threat due to proposed changes in the way that the surrounding land is managed. Help the British Mountaineering Council (BMC) ensure that this internationally important venue is preserved and accessible to all.

Thanks for sharing this - I was about to do the same. All Peaks-based climbers and walkers should please sign and share this petition as widely as they can!

Will China's state backed launch vehicle program ultimately prove more competitive than private sector program's like Space-X. Are we really far enough along the technology path for private sector development to maintain or grow market share in this area?

A local pub, you can't knock it for that, decent pubs with polite staff are hard to find in this part of Watford. Great for a drink and a chat
