I tested a Computar f/1.2 12-75 c-mount "Super 16mm" film cine lens on the Nikon 1 J2 camera. The results are quite pleasing! Click through for some example photos. A really neat way to get narrow depth of field with a fast lens - for not that much money :)
Shot a sample 3D video clip using paired Nikon 1 J1 and J2 cameras. The results are quite good for this early test. Also shot an indoor test at a school gymnasium that also came out very good - was interesting to test the low light capability of the camera. I will not be posting this video, however, as it was at a school event and I am not sure I should be posting the images of the school participants there.

We discovered a problem with a car's rear brakes one morning. Called Clay's auto service and they were able to schedule service that day. Drove the short distance over and they took care of the problem that afternoon, and did an evaluation of other car systems too (fortunately everything else was okay). Will take this car and others to Clay's for future auto service, as needed.
